My speedtest.net rating shows I should be downloading at 30Mbps... but I've been downloading at 250Kbps for five hours now... I have the launcher set to unlimited speed. What's going on?!

bruceb14_ESO5✭✭✭Very similar here, probably from many of us downloading at same time, servers gasping for bandwidth. Hasn't happened in the past since we were able to download before patch went live.0 -

Goldie✭✭✭✭✭I am hitting an average of 700.00Kbps which is around average based upon my download speeds. The trick might be with your firewall settings, it frees up a lot of the in-game lag and loading times, perhaps it is also freeing up some ports for faster update D/L speeds? Could be worth a look?

I just paused and restarted, switched the limit to 10mbs, then back to unlimited and now I'm getting the best I've had all day. Still under what I should be getting, though.

WhiteyC✭Good call. I disabled AVG just in case. I'm getting random bursts of 2mBps now that slowly decays back down to the same speeds I had in '97.1

Comcast here too, although that has never mattered in the past, but to note this issue - I also get the WEBGET FAIL error and have to re-luanch0 -
