WARNING: Lost all items from mail

I got mail from my Skill gatherers. I opened up the mail and it said to take attachments.

I have plenty of space in my inventory.

I went to go open the bags to see what they might have brought me.

There were no bags. I never got the items from my mail. The attachments were gone from my mail and not in my inventory.

I don't know if this will just affect items from the npcs or all mail, so watch out people.

Items don't come in a container now, they just come as random items in the mail.

Mine were containers, so I guess that was old mail and they just vanished and i got nothing.

I accidentely opened one of my container with a character that doesn't have this skill line when i first start to play game. Since mail is account-wide it is so often you can open these containers on different characters and when you do this, container disappears and you get no items at all.

Unless they changed it - its impossible to tell who the mail was addressed to.

This happened to me as well. I had three containers (1 each blacksmithing, clothing, and woodworking) from this morning before the patch and they are gone.

Any 'old' hiring containers got eaten, and lots of achievements got reset. Some items that where updated are now bugged (can not be removed). Some cool looking armor is now crap looking (but lots of other armor is now cool). Some skill point refunds did not happen. Some skills not talked about at all in the patch are now nerfed (bitting jabs)

I really good patch. Huge, so I expected a few bugs, but I think I will not log in for a day or so until this crap is fixed.

I have a few containers in mail from last night still. Should I ticket them before removing the attachments and opening or are they not bugged for everyone?

I would not touch them. Just leave them in for 1 day to see if they patch it.

@Blackwidow, what professions were the hireling containers you had for? Tried this on my own game account, and it worked as expected for some old Enchanting hireling containers I had sitting in my mail. So, we're looking to test with a few other profession types. It'd be helpful to know which ones you have.
