all the "nerfs" as you call them were needed, DKs that didn't rely on mindless shield bash & talons spam and ultimate spam are still going to be beasts in pve & pvp.
also your previous statement of sorcs being buffed and bolt escape being buffed, theres nothing in the patch notes, the skill (morphed into ball of lightning) allready absorbed projectiles and stun on arrival; (streak) doesnt absorb projectiles, it does dmg instead and stuns going through a target
also, try playing a sorc in full light armor, see how well you do in pvp, without teleporting the second you take dmg like all the other bad sorcs do, impulse cost increase affects us too, caus we couldn't cheeze with elemental drain and all ur fire dots a DK gets
oh and i forgot bold, caus that clearly made you show you knew what you were talking about

The elemental drain nerfs were needed, same with impulse.
But do you seriously, as a SORCEROR, think the Inhale nerf was fair and needed? lol it was only "ok" to begin with, and then they nerfed it to useless with the same high cost.
Enjoy your FOTM sorceror class. especially now that escape bolt got even stronger and more nerf cries will come.
what is next? Halving range of talons? radius of Blockade?
If the end result is true then it is a great fix for ESO's faceroll class. It will still faceroll but elitists complain when their God-mode is nerfed to only DemiGod-mode.

These are the abilities that DK's were strong with.
Without these abilities, they have no use and can't do it even remotely close any more.
The fire mage builds/AoE DK builds DEPENDED on Destro staff Impulse, elemental drain magicka regen etc to work, otherwise they run out of magicka in a few seconds and sit there stupid getting kited with zero magicka regen, while sorcerors Escape Bolt around (which now also stuns AND absorbs spells).

the whole ardent flame line is bad, except standard which already got hit and maybe 2 passives..The only bad change is to Inhale because that ability sucks now.
But hey, the other classes each have like 5-6 crap abilities. So why shouldn't DKs have one bad one?
He is making a good point, without the magicka regen DKs like myself that roll destro staff for mob grinding will have to reroll skills because as he said we will be mana effed and stuck at melee range with a staff, no mana and no way to escape combat and no damage mitigation since we are technically a mage at that point.
I don't think they were "nerfed into the ground" as he said but it is going to make it so DKs have to rethink their builds for sure.
Not necessarily a bad thing, but for all the people that think DKs are way too powerful and the "master class" wait until sorc starts dominating in Cyrodiil after this patch. I guarantee it will not be long before we start hearing about how they are too powerful and need to be "balanced" since they already are.

I am really disappointed by Zenimax. They conceded everything and more to the whiners. Common mistake in many MMOs. This will just have the effect of pushing most DK players, seen their class kicked to the ground, to reroll fotm sorcerers (yeah we need more of them) or templars. What a pity.
And I was expecting a lot more from them since they stated they would not base balance solely on players feedback. Only thing left to do is hope they won't persist on this path with future patches.

Leeching strikes is probably the most OP ability in the game. But you don't see cries for nerfs because it doesn't kill people in PvP.
The best craglorn group is going to be 12 nightblades just wait.
