Just read the interview by IGN with director Paul Sage.
He was saying that thieves guild and datk brotherhood guilds should not be expected before the first 4 updates meaning not before next year.
Housing not to be expected before two years.
This in combination with overcrowded public dungeons and bot trains and other expected elderscrolls systems left out is really depressing.
Very close to hit the subscription cancel button and return when the game is completed.
It can take about two years to build a good house....

Well if you think you can make better ZOS is hiring anyway....Patience is a virtue and until ZOS posts something official, the brotherhood/thieves guilds are just an idea.
