Honestly, if it doesn't give loot, skill points, gold or some other tangible reward, many players would never even touch it. They must be rewarded for what they do, else it's a waste of their time.
I'm a roleplayer.
Obviously, there is no reward for roleplay besides my own pleasure (too bad there aren't any DM's to give me extra XP).
I play games like this because I enjoy them.
Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.
He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

It was a suggestion to play a game that has this small scale PvP you want. I don't know what else to tell you but I won't be coming back to this thread anymore to repeat myself over and over again that my post wasn't meant to be rude, again, it was a suggestion.
I prefer the way Zenimax made their PvP in this game, it's perfectly fine how it is, there is large and small scale PvP if you look for it. Not everybody in Cyrodiil stays in one large pack.

It isn't mandatory, it won't make you stronger in AvA and it won't do anything to boost your character. It is simply an alternative pvp style for those that don't like AvA that much.
What is the problem with this? If you don't like arena then don't bloody play it... I don't like being a tank, so I am dps, I don't like reading lore books, so I don't do it... nobody is forcing anyone to do the arena so whether or not YOU don't like arena is besides the point, there are many that do.
And for all the people moaning about how "unbalanced" arena pvp would be, did it ever occur to you that Zenimax could put restrictions on it?
1v1 = any class vs any class. You don't know your apponent before entering.
2v2 = same as above.
4v4 = only one of each class. (templar, dragonknight, nightblade, sorcerer)
Then how can it be so incredibly unbalanced and omfg nerf blah blah or any such thing?
If a 4v4 group loses against another 4v4 group then they got out skilled... Very simple soultions here guys I don't know why you turn it into such a complex problem.

Seriously. Do you people even read what I write? I'm not asking for ANYTHING to be changed, I'm asking for something totally seperate to cyrodiil to be added. Do you know the difference?

They don't care. They are just here to hate on your idea, even though it does not affect them at all.

Yes we are so evil for disagreeing.
I guess we should just say "yes, sure, whatever" like you do with a 8 years old kid.
It would hurt the game (not my game).
You just cant/dont want to see it.
And if there is something childish here its the way you step in and cry because you cant have your icecream.
NO! this is not a copy of the game that shall not be named!! Pvp is kept to its own zone for a reason. If you want pvp in every game buy a console. This is a mmo and arena's/open/world pvp is not wanted or needed.
