Yeah I am getting those "Item Purchased" emails constantly. I've also seen emails that have the same subject as the hire emails you get daily with mats, raw materials or something like that. Too early in the AM to remember the subject line, LOL!

What I would like is a way to take a screenshot of the e-mail or some way to copy it to the report so they can see what it says.

Pretty sure you can, actually? There's a checkbox on the report screen that will allow you to send a screenshot. I believe when you open the report window or bug report window, before the overlay actually loads, it automatically takes a screenshot and saves it as bugreport.jpg in your Screenshots folder. If you check the box, it will send it with your report.

I haven't seen anything that says this, I'm pretty sure that I'm just making screen shots of the report menu this tool really need to have clearer instructions. Like the mail i report, do I need to keep that mail in my inbox? I would assume no, but like I said there is no where that states how to properly use the tool

I recived an ingame mail with the title "We remember you", to implicate i would ever had bought something from them. I reported the mail as usual & wrote in the report that they try to blame me in the mail-title.
I think they just try to scare the gamers to not get reported.

Yep i got a couple of those too. Didnt scare me :p reported as usual as well :)

As butchered as the English was, I kinda think it wasn't intended as a threat. More like a, "We'll remember what you like," kind of thing.

I've reported dozens of these emails with no negative repercussions. I mean, it would be pretty stupid to report the person if you had actually bought something from them.

I think the gold sellers are trying to obscure their actual deliveries as well as generally advertising their services. I suspect the only difference to an actual delivery email is that those include an attachment or two. By doing that, you can't find their emails with a simple text pattern match. Same reason they want to s 3 e l1 g 0 1 d for "dollahs".

By sending that mail to all of us it covers the true buyers that have attachments.

actually this is a intresting point. using the same format to actually confirm actual buys as they do to just spam ad makes it effectively impossible to tell it apart and lets them, oh god thats just a aweful thought....
I play every class in every situation. I love them all.

I have been having the same issue with getting the spam emails to. I report them as usual, but before I do so I also take a screenshot, then at the end of the week, I send an email to ZOS Account Support via my own email with all of the screenshots for that week.
Haven't a clue if they do anything about it or not.. but the amount of bots in the game are increasing.
Far too many characters to list any more.

I get about 3-4 of those a day in game which I find interesting:
I have never belonged to a guild, I have used zone chat maybe once, exchanged whispers with players out questing (usually asking about what motif I was using for each bit of armour), never traded with a player, and generally kept a low profile in game.

It makes me wonder how I got on their list - do they keep an eye on who shows up around their bots? Because I do make it a habit of reporting all the bots I see.
The only negative experience in ESO is those that make it negative.

Have you ever been to a crowded place in the game, like a city, workbench or bank?

That's where they got your name from ...
