School Daze - Still bugged

Nothing happens when I press on the fountains. All I see is the same bowl on all of them.

When I did my first char, this quest was bugged. But I thought they fixed the quest because later I could finish it.

I'm doing an alt atm, and now it seems the devs has introduced a new bug.. how nice of them. Skilled programmers they are...

Suggestions? Exit game and wait 15 min and maybe get into a new instance? Such bs...

Yep still bugged for me too as of last attempt.

I know they know, a whole bunch of us reported it at same time when we got to talking by the lake.

The problem with School Daze is that the way the quest is designed is rather flawed. It obviously requires you to activate the orbs in order but that will fail if multiple people are trying to activate the orbs simultaneously. So while you may be activating them correctly, it only takes one other person to jump in and begin tapping orbs to screw it all up.

Right now the only options are:

Try to chill out until there aren't any people around trying to do the quest as well.

Get everyone to hang back while one person taps the orbs in order, which in my experience was rather frustrating to do.

1x West, 2x East, 3x South used to force spawn the croc but I dunno if that's still the case. (I ended up doing it this way because as I said above, it was frustrating as hell trying to get people to cooperate.)

When I saw the title, honestly thought the OP would be talking about the video game, School Daze, released for the Speccy back in 1988.

This worked for me today. Just dropped and reacquired the quest, and waited to talk to the guy by the fountain till everyone cleared off, updated, hauled ass to hit the orbs and the croc spawned.

The workaround really works.
Abandon quest. Relog. Get quest again. Talk to NPC. Click 3x south, 2x east, 1x west and kill the croc. It worked for me and I told it a few other people who said it worked.
Sure, it should be fixed, since this cant be how it works, but well.. instead of being stuck.

Worked for me too after I logged out once and reset the fountains. Try, relogging or abandoning the quest and starting over. Do not click on north, click west once, east twice and south three times. Try to do it when other players are not doing the quest at the same time as that seems to bug it out as well. Croc should spawn.

I finally finished it....why? Here's what happened I was standing close enough to aggro the invisible croc. That was a ahaha moment or a fluke. Try standing closer to the picnic table with reader.

SCHOOL DAZE WALK THROUGH

Ok just did this quest and it worked easily.

1. Drop the quest.
2. Take the quest again go and talk to the boy by the lake.
3. Click South Pedastal 3 times
4. Click East Pedastal 2 times
5. Click West Pedastal 1 time
6. Kill the Croq.

It doesn't matter if others are clicking that is a myth. Just follow these instructions and you will advance the quest.

I dropped and did the quest 3 times with 4 other people clicking stuff all the time.
