Tales of Tribute is a deck building card game so if your bring your deck to the game, your opponent can buy them if tavern offers. This is just how the game works.
lol no.In fact, I have a great idea for ZoS on how to fix ToT: disable it... forever!
Because every second they spend working on that is a second they lose fixing bugs, balancing PvP, classes, and everything else...

Yeah NO that's not how it works...

Yeah NO that's not how it works... I put in all the work and unlock the decks and the clues to upgrade the cards and then some pvp guy who decides that he wants to play a card game queue's up and gets to use all the cards that I put the time and work into earning and he can just use them and never have to touch the actual game or do a quest... It's not right! WHY even have the decks locked at that point. If the opponent hasn't unlocked that deck or upgraded version of the card they shouldn't be able to use those cards!

Better option would be to remove PVP since all that does is cause nerfs to the gear and builds when people cry because they get beat!

Don't know what I'm doing here 'cos I hate ToT
In particular, I hate that you tied Zerith Var's progression into it.
Why should I be forced to play this game just to complete his companionship?
I know that fishing is tied in with Sharp, but fishing is dead easy compared to
the laborious slog of ToT, and unfair on players who have no interest in playing
what is essentially a whole different game to the rest of ESO.
Please ZoS, show some mercy - he's the only one Ihaven't completed!

You have no idea how much I agree with you. But let me give you a free tip: don't say it, suggest it, or discuss it again. Otherwise, your forum account will be shut down for good. Don't reply to me, don't talk about it. Just leave it there.

This is what I scream in my head every time I see a ToT thread...and sometimes out loud as I did today, then I saw your post. Couldn't agree more.

Just imagine how much time they spent creating that thing, and how useful that time could have been if they had invested it into something that actually fits in ESO.
A new dungeon. A new trial. A new zone. A new system that players could actually use every day. Something like creature taming, for example, or literally anything else.
ESO is so damn BIG, and it still has so much potential, even after 12 years. They could do so much more with it. There isn't even a comparison between that thing ToT and what this amazing team could actually create.
But well... there's nothing we can do about it now. The ToT is here, so the team has to keep spending precious development time on it just so a small part of the player base can use it. Well... yeah. Kinda sad, honestly.

TOT could be so fun if they just worked on it a bit. Change it up and make it so the decks we pick are the ones WE get to use not the opponent! Have them work for it and earn the cards to be able to use them.
