And while I don't necessarily agree but the T Bag has a bit more or a sexual harrasment angle than other taunt options and IIRC that's ultimately why it is not allowed once requested to stop.

Killing another player is a bit homicidal is it not? which is worse? Homicide or SA?

Do you see any game that your main objetive is to SA as much people as possible?

You didn't answer my question, which is worse? Homicide or SA? Bagging isn't even anything near SA in gaming culture

Is irrelevant, you are comparing a game theme common that only some "moral panic" people attack (games with murder) to a crime that is viewed with disgust on almost every culture and is not accepeable not even in war (it is considered a war crime)

Burning people is a warcrime, does that make every DK a warcriminal and ESO a war crime simulator?

Thats so offensive that you even say that! I hate SA! I have seen what it has done to my friends! How dare you even insinuate that! You should be ashamed!!

Then think more before making nonsense analogies

Everything I have said is sound logically. You have not been able to argue one point except for calling me a SA apologist which is the same as just calling me a racist or hurling some other insult that makes no sense

You're welcome to do that. ZOS, however, has put that behavior as falling within the ToS (which you agreed to abide by when you installed the game). You can think it's a bad decision all you want, and heaven knows that there are a bunch of such decisions in my personal "very questionable" category, but don't come complaining if they act on it. It's not a single-player game where you can do whatever you feel like with no effects beyond the privacy of your own living room.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

I am a child of the internet and never, ever, have considered that T-bagging could be sexual. It's always just been a "salt in the wound" being a poor winner move to me. If people are incredibly upset about T-bagging to the point of thinking someone should be banned for it, they shouldn't be doing PvP.

I am not using what my friends have went through to prove my point about bagging. Bagging is not SA less so than killing a player could be called homicide. I basically got called an SA apologist which is just such a terrible thing to say about anyone. Alls I said is bagging is video game culture and people shouldn't have their accounts deleted because of it and I get called an SA apologist? Thats evil

How can anyone not see the sexual component behind it? You do know what represents the Tea Bags and what represents the container they're being dipped in.. right?

I dislike the wishy-washy-ness of this policy. Either bagging is an offensive act, in which case it is punishable, or it is not offensive and should just be allowed. This situation where it is offensive after the recipient has jumped through olympic level hoops strikes me as a weak will cosplaying as reasonable compromise.

Personally I'd prefer a strong stance banning the action, but even more I'd like ZOS to just have a stance and settle this.

Yes, I know how people consider it to be sexual from thinking about it in that context. My point was that independently, I never would've come up with that concept, therefore not everyone is going to consider it that way.

It would be nice if players didn't feel the need to rub anything in someone else's face after defeating them in combat. Especially when it mimics doing an offensive action such as tbagging. Isn't being victorious satisfaction enough?

While it doesn't bother me when people do it, I find it no less a childish thing that speaks loudly about those that feel the need to do it, and defend it.

It's been in every game I've played since UO, and my stance hasn't changed since; The need to teabag others is just a sign of immaturity that reflects poorly on the pvp community as a whole.

I honestly don’t care what they decide. Whether teabagging is allowed or not, I just want the rule to be applied consistently.

There are certain streamers who teabag constantly and never seem to face any consequences, while I’m afraid to teabag at all because I know I’d probably catch a ban for it. I personally know a lot of people who have been banned for teabagging, so it’s hard to understand where the line is supposed to be.

If it’s against the rules, enforce it consistently. If it’s not, then let people do it. The inconsistency is the real problem.

I mean yeah, thats true, but I feel like you could say the entirety of ESO is childish and a sign of immaturity if you want to look at it like that from that point of view to be fair. I mean we're running around as elves or cats or orcs on flashy, goofy mounts fighting npcs and building houses and fashioning and stuff in pve. I mean its all immature but I still love ESO and enjoy it and have fun on it. Thats why I play it lol. that being said, I am not saying teabagging is just an integral part of the game like light attack weaving, but it is part of gaming culture and it would be foolish to try and police it as that just causes more problems. Like collecting screenshots of someone teabagging, then after the fact whispering them to stop and reporting with the screenshots before you whispered them. On top of this, nobody really knows this is bannable. That and I don't think anyone should have their entire account wiped out with however many hundreds or thousands of hours of progress and dollars invested just gone for teabagging no matter how much they do it

Gaming itself isn't a sign of immaturity at all. Feeling the need to teabag after someone dies (usually not by the one teabagging), is childish. What is the inherent need you have with doing it? Because it was done in games since you were a kid? Self gratification? I'm curious what people feel the need to do it and defend it, genuinely.

If there are consequences of doing it, like losing many hundreds or thousands of hours and dollars, it seems like the mature thing would be to just not do it?

Now i am checking my ignored list and if i am in online mode every time before i start tbagging. I am at the edge of a permaban, got multiple warnings and bans because of tbagging. And tbagging is the only offence that i got a warning for in ESO in 10 years.

There are some players that i really would love to put on ignored list since they hate whisper me at every possibility. But i just cant ignore people for prolonged time because if i were to tbag them they just record acting like they are trying to whisper me to stop and report me. Got most of my warnings and 72h ban because i was in Offline Mode while tbagging.

Has ZOS's official position changed on this? Historically they have not considered it actionable per se. They consider it actionable when you ignore someone's request to stop and repeat the unwanted action despite that request, the same way they consider it harassment to continue to mudball someone after you've been asked to stop.

First time, someone told me to stop, and i didnt stop. Then i got a warning and learned that when someone tells you to stop tbagging you have to stop. Which i thought really weird thing in a PvP game. But ok.

Then got even weirder. I was in Offline Mode just not to talk with people. Then i got another warning at some point. Then they said it doesnt matter if i am in Offline Mode. It is ok if they try to whisper me and record it. Even weirder. And the 3rd time was a 72h ban i think i forgot myself in Offline Mode. That is why now i am checking to make sure i am in Online Mode and my Ignored List is empty before tbagging.

I am more amazed for the fact that there are PvP players that actually stop playing, start whispering, recording everything and then creating a report. I am more amazed than anything else that some people actually give effort and time for doing this. I mean if it hurts you so much then either respawn or do something else than watching your corpse that is receiving a tbag.

It's a reaction some people have to childish/toxic/senseless behavior.

I'm still curious what the need/addiction to rubbing your pixelated *** on someone stems from?
