This is arguably the worst patch in the history of ESO.

ZOS has had a track record of nerfing things that didn't need to be addressed and buffing things that needed to be addressed. This isn't news. It's expected. Regardless, it still baffles me why DK (an absolute disaster of combat balance) and specific Sorc builds are allowed to reign while NB and Arcanist remain weak. At this point, ZOS has already demonstrated the capability to address PvP and PvE separately through Battle Spirit, so it's not longer a valid excuse to buff DK in PvE while disregarding its impact in PvP. There was plenty of feedback to consider, but I think the company does not want their players to stay.
When U49 dropped, I spent several weeks testing the reworked DK on the PTS and another month on the live server before uninstalling ESO due to severe class imbalance. U50 gave me some hope initially and I went through the same testing process, but the game is now uninstalled again and I'm done playing until my class gets reworked in 2028. I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way.

Far from the worst in fact.

If you mean the layoffs then they had nothing to do with dev performance at all. And the combat team that is responsible for balance hasn’t even been affected

Luneca✭✭✭✭✭ZOS literally deleted 1/2 of the game when they over nerfed DoTs and then extended their duration for PvE, making them useless and putting us in this awful direct damage META.
They also came for tools that can CC, snare, etc. and allow you to tactically counter a guy that just stacks burst.
The result is PvP that looks like a shadow of what it did before 2020. Extremely shallow and nearly 100% based on stats. Skill left the game a long time ago.
I don't understand what ZOS' goal is with the changes they have made and continue to make, but I can say that it does not align with my vision in the slightest.
I don't expect to get everything I want. I don't expect to get everything I need. But what I do expect is to not be forced into a playstyle I don't want because ZOS decided one day that it's time to shake things up.
Seriously, the templar changes -- just no. The class already lacks identity and every change they are doing is essentially a nerf. And it's on the backdrop of class reworks that are "coming" in the "future".
The dev team thinks DK is fine? Why don't they just enter PvP or BGs? Stream yourselves in low level BGs, please. That's where the problem is at its worst.
Also, CLASS MASTERIES SHOULD NOT BE USABLE UNDER LVL 50. Absolutely insane that it's even possible to activate them when some of them means that opponents in low level PvP have 0 ability to fight back (Static Reverbation, etc.)4 -

The dev team thinks DK is fine? Why don't they just enter PvP or BGs? Stream yourselves in low level BGs, please. That's where the problem is at its worst.
We already saw them play bg back in the day and they didn’t even get through fundamentals of combat to experience balance and I doubt anything has changed sadly.
For the same reason balance is never an issue in low level bg. Most are questers and pvers hoping to get the daily reward and aren’t even trying to pvp. You can come there naked and stomp
