Return shattered paths signet to pvp, buff for pve

In pvp with damage buff dosabled completely the mythic has basically been turned into a debuff with no upsides, a status effect every 2s is nothing. Now it’s a set that does more bad than good which is ridiculous.
Enable the damage buff for pvp again but instead of halving it make just reduce it further, make it a quarter or something, I’m sure it’s not difficult to find that golden spot. But turning a set into a straight up detriment to yourself is preposterous.
(imho it didn’t need any nerfs for now at least as it carried some non reworked classes and somewhat bridged the huge gap between them and dk, ww.
And personally I enjoyed high damage gameplay, most players have long been exhausted by the ever prevalent tank meta, having to actually play instead of face eating all damage felt very refreshing)

It was nerfed for pve too which makes even less sense because it wasn’t bis anywhere to begin with. If anything it should’ve been buffed further in pve. It was fun alternative that many players enjoyed, why not make a more competitive dd option?

I would like to see the ultimate mini game taken off of it in PvP so it’s just a ring that applies random statuses on people. Might see some use then.

If I’m not mistaken that’s how it works currently, the random status still applies every 2s but that’s it.

Just cut the damage buff in half and it’s still probably an okay choice for status effect builds but not broken.

They mean ‘minor Timidity’ and they’re honestly right. Unnecessary ult loss that could easily be removed if they were to keep the damage component disabled in PvP.

Ah true, I took that as the holding ult component. Even if timidity was removed I dont think that’s remotely enough power for a mythic though. Just halve the damage buff, or even just reduce it to some other value. Pve only mythics are silly. Especially for a newer mythic, leveling it into obsolescence is so over reactive instead of literally any sort of middle of the road approach first.

I think that already exists in PvE-only mythic (the one with -99% light attack damage), but I agree that Shattered Paths could lose Timidity and maybe get a buff. I have two suggestions:

1 - Apply a status effect every 1 second when you deal damage to an enemy, always choosing one the enemy doesn’t already have.

    or

2 - Increase damage-over-time effects by 20% (this would help with flame, poison, disease, and other DoT status effects)

    What do you think?

I meant I don’t want the hold ult component or the timidity I just want to something to apply statuses on my warden so I can drop charged on warden.
