Yeah that stuff sounds absolutely wild.
I'd have settled for something like a 16 meter range on Expert Hunter. On live, I usually cast it on cooldown for my glassy templar just to stave off gank attempts from people that see my max hp and it works pretty good as it is.
As for Rally - yeah man, I just don't get it. There is no one in the world that is just fuming at the fact that NBs are sitting in stealth, passively healing while already at full health just because they want to refresh their attack. It's already a huge opportunity cost to run 2H and this skill so let them have the brutality while invisible. THAT is called balance.
Keep saying it, but NB should lose the dependency on stealth and cloak. It's bad for NBs. Bad for the game, tbh. But they aren't going to rework the class any time soon, even thought it needed a rework for years esp. regarding PvE.
Instead they slap buffs on it, then after a while nerf it, and it's in a worse position over time. Sounds familiar? Right, just like necro and templar.
I am not sure what the play is, but taking me out of stealth for using those skills won't change a thing. I'll just use the roll and block buttons more.
I can understand why they've made the changes though, but the problem is that there isn't any compensation for it. Some of that list does seem like bug fixes.
The class masteries on the class are awful and provide 0 real value in PvP. Seriously , take them off and see how much of a difference it makes in reality. For me, it made less impact than slotting CP, where that wasn't the case on 4 other classes.
Cloak is such a powerful tool that it was inevetable that it would get targeted one way or another. It's the ultimate defense and offense tool in the game other than corrosive, and corrosive is an ult.
Speaking about ults, does this mean that I'll be properly kicked out of cloak on siege and when I do leap on my subclassed DK built for 35K leap?
No. Unacceptable. I need to be able to RP in PvP. I even call it "Shadow Leaping".

I remember when I also gave crit healing, cost was 2200 for 3 secs, and cleansed 5 effects. I figured it was already hit hard enough.

Why would anyone invest 10 more years into this game after 10 years of a constant broken cycle of nerfs? PvP population is at an all time low. If you run 60 or 70 back to back BG anyone can see that it's the same people. Its the same Guilds in Cyrodiil. It's the same ball groupers and other people responsible for the destruction of every character any of us have ever had.
Every nerf is a for sale sign on GH and instead of trying to punish new players or people who thought they had a chance at something they always hated who joined PvP due to something like the WW, they'd rather just gatekeep and dissuade them. And it's working. They aren't just quitting GH and BG, they're quitting the game. What's the end game? Nerf everyone until 300 people are left with an end of service date?

Spamming the same chatgpt responses in every thread doesn´t make what you say more relevant or true, just saying. Nerfing/rebalance is part of any MMO and ESO is no different. PvE is also responsible for waaaaaaay more adjustments to both PvP and PvE than PvP is (I know that´s hard to grasp but that´s actual facts).

I agree Major Mangle.
Winemixer, this is part of balance and right now everyone is leaving because DK and sorc are the only viable options since those two are so much better than everything else. DK needs WW nerfs. Also, I want it nerfed because I dislike build situations where you just have everything. DK currently has everything a build could want without having to give up anything in a single area. I think sustain has also been far too free for too long. Infinitie sustain should be harder to have than it currently is on a lot of classes
Here’s my problem.
I’m all for incremental balance updates, it would be great to see ZOS do more frequent updates to address balance concerns.
However, why in tf are we further nerfing NB’s?? The “balance concern” regarding Nightblades is they are F tier and need buffed, further nerfs (to A PLAYSTYLE) are sending NB mains to the crafting station or in my case, other games. Stealth in ESO is a unique utility to two things in the game, PvP and RP/Thieving. It has no relevance whatsoever in PvE, which is ZOS’s fault. Where are the complaints in 2026 about stealth in PvP to justify nerfing it? Really, @ZOS_BrianWheeler, where are they and why are these ideas being entertained by your team???? It makes zero sense. “Communication” is the biggest topic in ESO right now, the combat team has communicated NOTHING to substantiate the continued gutting of the classic NB playstyle.

EXACTLY THIS! its like gutting blocking and giving everyone in the whole game a fantastic delayed unblockable stun that also was a delayed burst ability that turned off block for a duration of time because DKs have block passives. Or giving everyone an ability that made everyone in a 43.5 m radius fumble and get stunned for roll dodging and then prevented from roll dodging again for a duration.
Stealth detect potions and the other 18 different forms of stealth detect were already in a fine spot. These changes now are just so tone deaf and what a toxic dm would do

They just don’t understand their own game. They never should have made cloak a toggle. Before it was a toggle, it was truly a defense mechanic more than anything, it was in a good spot. It paired with the bow best cause you’d CC break, roll dodge for speed, then hit cloak for a short time to reposition. It was perfect. Then they just decided one day to change it, why? To make it more offensive? So we can hit cloak and run up to someone 8 seconds later and hit them with an incap? Now they see cloak as problem cause they changed the motive behind it?
Make it make sense.

Well you see, NB is not on the approved list of classes you should be playing right now. What you should be playing is DK or Sorc and not one of the RP classes don't you know.
