Which Dynamic Encounter do you like the most in Season One?

I didn't like any of those low effort encounters. An army of players 1 hitting a few adds.
There is no icon where it spawns or a timer...

Standing there 20 Minutes without doing anything and than doing less because everything is dead before I can blink. Just getting my achievements and forget that boring thing even existed.

Who thought this would be entertaining or exciting?

How about you guys make more dungeons, arenas, trials sth that is actually engaging and is rewarding in a meaningful way?

After waiting round for 10+ minutes for one and having no clue when or if it would happen I just kind of gave up. I like the idea of dynamic events, but I like the idea of my time being respected more.

The maximum time between event spawns should be less than the AFK inactive timer for an automatic booting from the server.

If your going to make it such a long spawn time then at least allow me to go AFK between when it spawns to when I get booted.

Also, please fix the loot tables. 30 minutes is enough time that you can complete most dungeons in that time frame. So either decrease the spawns interval or increase the loot drops.

I'm really undecided, but it's hard to evaluate when each event ends in seconds 'cause everyone and their corgis are doing them XD

I don't like Stonefalls much as a zone, but probably is the one Encounter I've found more interesting since it appears to be the only one "with a story", kinda. Or maybe I just lost something from the others (which I like more for the landscapes).

They all have fun things about them. The little mini stories are kind of humorous and interesting. Im so very glad to see these kinds of things. There is a ton of room to expand upon these. Yes, its brand new and will be very crowded in the beginning. Id like to see more of them and have them spread out to all zones, used for additional holiday, monthly, weekly or simply pop-up events. I dont like to compare games because its not very fair to the Developers. Ill use one of their own, this system works really well in Fallout. One of the greatest hits "One Violent Night"😂 I will always smile thinking about the first time I saw that.

That happened with these, seeing that barn on fire😂 Or catching the eels😎 It can be really fun and I hope they make larger ones too. It does go very nicely with Overland difficulty too. And its good theyre designed to resist farming. It may seem like its farming because theyre few right now, but if we had more of them going off at random times everywhere all the time, it really wont feel like farming.

It would be cool to get another set of 3 Dynamic Encounters in the base game alliance zones, somewhere down the line. Maybe The Rift, Bangkorai, and Reaper's March should get Dynamic Encounters next.

I liked the Dynamic Encounters where you move around the zone a bit. I also liked how some of them ask you to use other gameplay mechanics, like fishing and harvesting, rather than only combat and only pressing the interact button on things. Maybe a future Dynamic Encounter could have us Scry/Excavate or lockpick chests? Something that incorporates more engaging gameplay loops into it.

I really liked how there were mechanics to the Vampire Hunt Dynamic Encounter in Glenumbra, both how you got a special skill with special light/heavy attacks when you picked up an item as well as the use of those special skills for damaging otherwise invulnerable targets. Hopefully future Dynamic Encounters lean more into gameplay mechanics like this.

They are all decent, I probably like Granny the best. However there are way too many players at the events to make them enjoyable. It reminds me of the siege camps during Solstice wall event. Things die before they render and just a mess of players to the point you can't see if their is a chest to loot or not.

Having now seen all three from the beginning, I am sad to say that there really isn't much to these. They are very simple incursions with extremely minimal implied story and none of the "dynamism" the name implies (that is, they are the same every time). You cannot even interact with the NPCs after the event. I cannot even pick a favourite based on which has the cute animal(s) because they all do.

    Yes, agreed.

Edit to add: The existing incursions in other zones all get very old very quickly too, but at least they always play into the overarching story of the zone. These have neither that to go for them, nor the detail of a good side story.

    Vampire Hunt (Glenumbra)
For me, I enjoy the Vampire Hunt encounter the most. I've heard some people in zone chat say they dislike it because it is too long, but I think I appreciate the roleplay and journey aspect of tracking down a vampire. Putting on suits of armor to destroy things are cool too. My only complaint is that there is often a gargoyle that gets stuck on a tree stump that artificially prolongs the encounters longer, which I hope gets fixed.

I like the Blisa's Delivery as well, being a Dunmeri take on the Little Red Riding Hood story. We have a red haired dunmer in red clothing and a grandma who is actually the big bad wolf at the end. Fun.

My least favorite is Flowervine Farm. The encounter itself is fun, but I feel like it has the least interesting rewards. Blisa's Delivery has alternate werewolf transformation skins, and the vampire hunt has a blood scion skin. Is there a unique reward for the farm?

I do appreciate the effort the developers made for these events, but I do hope we get a timer somewhere to tell when they are about to go up.

The mini stories are OK over all but has been an epic waste of time trying to get rewards and the drop rate is abysmal. The 30 min timer kills it completely, spent a day doing these for nothing.

Playwise, I like Auridon's Dynamic Event. It kinda cracks me up to fight a huge fire with buckets and see the horses running everywhere. But it doesn't have good prizes like the other ones.

To be honest I don't think very much of any of them - I was hoping for a little more from dynamic encounters. I'm holding out hope that additional encounters will be better.

    Same with favours.

To be specific, I kind of felt like these were just "dolmen" style encounters where the boss runs around a bit, which wasn't quite as advertised. I also don't really understand why it pops only every 30 mins, or why the loot is so naff (but I admit that might just be my legendarily rubbish RNG!) As it stands, I'm not waiting for them or actively looking for them.
