I’d like to see the rewards from quests improved

To be completely honest, I’m replaying the Sheogorath quest, and while the Tomeshell pet is an okay reward, I feel like this whole questline had a lot of potential to lean more heavily into cosmetic rewards. Not just an emote and a pet, but at least one cosmetic per quest.

I think that would be extremely well received and would make people a lot more interested in doing these quests.

Cosmetics that would make sense: a Sheogorath-inspired butterfly teleport effect, a Sheogorath Staff outfit style as a replica, or a Destruction Staff skill style themed around butterflies.

Anyway, I genuinely think ZOS could add more cosmetic rewards to this questline. Finishing a new quest and getting 700 gold and some armor pieces I already have feels kind of underwhelming. I hope that in the future they add more cosmetic rewards to these kinds of quests.

I only do quests with worthwhile rewards ie costumes, skill styles or mounts etc, and there isnt many of them sadly.

Oh wow, good to know about the rewards.

Man, I feel like so much of the content coming out this year has this problem. I hoped they’d have been more focused on the rewards. Good to know that I can skip out on this.

The first time through the Sheogorath questline, when I saw the rewards were all Coldharbour's Favorite gear pieces, I initially thought they were maybe just placeholders. But it seems like those really are the intended final rewards, and considering how disappointing the questline itself is... well, I suppose it's fitting. A story that feels like a first draft gets rewards that feel like placeholders.

It has to be a placeholder. It's a zone set from northern elsweyr. - I can't possibly imagine zos skipping the chance for a new creative set that could be more than just number crushing left and right, only to shove ye ol' Cadwells socks down our throat.
I refuse, that would be a new lazy milestone for them.
