Some people have not committed to the campaigns/home campaign for leaderboard but are still playing. I didn't even do it myself for half of the first week. If Blackreach is a popular as people are suggesting, then why is the wait time not hours? And its usually dead in there.
Image what cross platform would do to the GH que. Or how it will affect the performance which already cant be fixed and is an issue right now with GH. How would anyone really intend on merging three platforms and that kind of population into the size of GH?
Vengeance is good. My Guilds are playing PvP again because of it. They will not play GH and BG anymore. Or Blackreach. Its fair PvP. People cant hide behind builds and exploit with mythics. The combat in GH and BG is out of control. And still, people are calling for more dps. And nerfs to healers and tanks which is exactly the same thing.
As we play more Vengeance (and we will be) I will write to Zos and give them additional good honest feedback concerning it. It is far more enjoyable, far more fair, far more acceptable to the majority of the entire player base and not just GH people.
Why has such a small pond of GH players been allowed to constantly get out characters nerfed every other patch for over a decade? People are tired of it. Just like theyre trying again right now with the DK and Werewolf. It needs to stop.
Zos has already said GH cannot be fixed. They did try. Like it or not, Vengeance is the future. And the game will be better for it in the long run. I am saying that as an 11 year Eso Vet.
ZOS also repeatedly insisted vengeance was just a test to learn how to improve Grey Host.
Sorry, but you either haven't been around in this game and forum very long or you're being deliberately obtuse.
ZOS' job is to fix the game we purchased. Not try to force some new system essentially nobody likes and has no connection to other parts of ESO what so ever. Template toons are for PvE games.
Zos should just work on GH again, the original game mode and btw a big motivation to even buy ESO in the first place for a lot of players.
Instead of trying to sell us a game mode with training wheels or makes us test stuff, like this was a beta game and not a 12 years old.
STOMP Vengeance and work on fixing the game, should it be!
How is it so difficult for you people to understand that Vengeance is ZOS working on GH?JustLovely wrote: »Zos should just work on GH again, the original game mode and btw a big motivation to even buy ESO in the first place for a lot of players.

GH doesn't work well with the latest features ZOS introduced, namely scribing and subclassing. We all know this.
Lag, near zero frame rates, skills not going off when buttons pressed, slingshotting around, sound cutting out.
ALL of these are due to too many server side checks being necessary inside a global cooldown. The server can't handle them.
Combat changes in Vengeance - namely far fewer AoEs - are meant to test how to stop all the things you hate in Gray Host but try to get closer to the current unwieldy combat system that you like.
If you don't play any Vengeance then they can't "fix" Gray Host. One depends on the other. This shouldn't be so hard to grasp.

Dunno when vengeance allegedly hits its stride but its not close to Greyhost's at all.

I have not seen a single bar in vengeance ever and never have whitnessed great pvp activity in it for once.

Because in the real world vengeance is ZOS avoiding working on Grey Host.

Everyone talks for themselves... There are many people who likes and attends Vengeance, not as hardcore as Gray Host folk but casually and more easy going, having fun way to play.
I do not want to be the devil's advocate but I think if we consider the last one year, the only thing ZOS did good is adding Vengeance. The last year all focus went to make big guilds happy, cater to hardcore players and adding more and more group content, finally casual players get a pvp place to enjoy with like minded people.
I liked Cyrodiil from start, but the last years it become unplayable not only technical way but because of the big guilds, ball groups domination, it is simply not fun anymore.
Every single Vengeance post, vandalized by Gray Host defenders who are so scared their precious playground will be replaced by Vengeance for casual gamers. I see always the same people jumps in and talks about how Vengeace is bad admittedly they never set foot in it. You people do not like Vengeance and many others do not like Gray Host, that is so simple to grasp.
Leave people alone in Vengeance, stop checking bars and numbers, it does not important who plays or likes more which one of it. There are lots of us who likes and play Vengeance and having fun, play in your ball group, 0 fps, laggy Gray Host and stay away from Vengance, problem solved.
Last day of Gray Host campaign score:
DC: 105k
EP: 81k
AD: 80k
1st place faction has a 25% lead to 2nd place. I have no idea what happened, but according to forums DC had a ballgroup that kept the other alliances hostage.
Last day of Vengeance campaign:
DC: 76k
EP: 74k
AD: 63k
In the beginning EP started with an 8k point lead, and had 2 bars pop at times while everyone else was 1 bar. There were more dedicated players on DC who kept the map controlled and persisted despite being outnumbered. In the last week, when scores were neck to neck, people bandwagoned off EP onto DC. I guess people who enjoy PvP get rewarded for their efforts?

Wow, I really had no idea that both David Dunning and Justin Kruger played Gray Host PvP.JustLovely wrote: »Because in the real world vengeance is ZOS avoiding working on Grey Host.

And it was all predictable (and predicted). Just a bunch of PVE drive by shooters that hate PvP who opportunistically sabotaged the Vengeance test feedback. Now they are back in PVE land and Vengeance is RIP.
Whole 14 people in the leaderboard enjoying the vengeance campaign, such a blast!

Nobody is forced to play Vengeance as there is enaugh capacity now after you not only kept GreyHost but also got Blackreach back. But you still try to convince everyone that vengeance is completely dead. Why would you do that if you goal isnt to discourage supporters from playing there and make ZOS close the campaign so the remaining have to play GreyHost or quit PvP. You are the ones trying to force others to play your way.
