Quest: Blessings of the Eight

Ive been trying to finish this quest for weeks with no luck. Part of it requires me to use a wand on two flames. But no matter where I stand I cant seem to get the wand to trigger any sort of option to use it. Ive fiddled around respositioning the character and had an option show very briefly once but couldn't catch it. Would anyone have any suggestions of how this can be done? And why in the hell should it be so damned difficult to do this?

I had to move around some and also walk away to the other room for just a bit, then return and stand almost in the brazier to get the option to show... if you dont move to the next brazier in time it will reset and then you need to wait for about 30-40 secs before the option will show again on the screen.... its a bit wonky i agree but as I said I ended up almost in the fire to get the option to show up on the screen

PS on the 1st, i stood to the left of the brazier looking at the fallen person on the ground, the second, was facing directly at the alter.

The frustrating thing is I see people run in, run up to the brazier, flash they have it and run out again. Its like an instant reaction. Yet for me it doesn't happen. Im wondering if its a graphics issue in my case.

I could not say for sure, but, In my case it did take a bit of effort to make it show up correctly. It wasn't a graphics problem with me, but rather just a small window.

One thing I forgot to mention was that I needed to switch from 3rd to 1st person view in order to see the choice.

As I said, it was very very small for me and I had to very slowly move the mouse or I ran right over it. It was very finicky , the second brazier, not as much....Good Luck
