Some time ago, I mentioned in the Overland Content Feedback Thread that I wasn't going to continue my Plus subscription because I didn't think it was worthwhile to keep it up while the part of the game I wanted to play wasn't satisfying. Now that it feels like it is, I'm happy to pay you for the pleasure of enjoying your game again. I still think there are some things about the feature that need ironing out, such as a finer degree of challenge tuning across enemy challenge ratings, and I'm sure you want to make some changes also, but it's better now, and you're clearly putting in the effort to make major improvements to the game. So, thank you. You deserve my support. Keep it up.

Well, that will make up for the subscriptions that my friend and I cancelled.
He quit because he felt deceived over the Night Market not being for everyone; he doesn't mind grouping with a friend but won't play with strangers.
I quit paying because I am not a guild or group player so I don't fit their current demographics. The changes to the current event to cater to guilds and end-gamers just makes me feel like I made the right decision in spending my entertainment budget elsewhere.

Why then would you play an mmo

Most of the content involves strangers in some way, and after all, friends start out as strangers.

MMO = MMORPG Massive map online Roll-Playing game. It's biggest feature is the seamless transition between location maps.
My friend is not playing a MMORPG. He is a FPS type of player that started playing ESO because I enjoyed it. He liked killing stuff and discovering new places on the map.
I play ESO for the story, the RPG, and the open map. I agree that too much of the new and newer content is focused on forcing groups and guilds. It is great to have options to group. Not good to be required to group in order to enjoy content or events.
My opinion; you are free to form your own.

Does that mean they just Alt F4 whenever another player shows up at a Dolmen, World Boss, or Delve? Like 80% of the Night Market can be done by finding a random group of players and following them around, you wouldn't even need to be in the actual "Group" with them.

They have been releasing new solo content consistently for the past 10 years. And suddenly because during the first 6 months of 1 year they release some group content you "don't fit their current demographics". What are you actually talking about? Did you also quit the game every Q1 and Q3 when they released new dungeons?

I am genuinely so baffled by this type of attitude.

Not true. I know all about a person the moment I fire siege at them.

Not good to be required solo in order to enjoy content or events. I hope when the solo content releases they allow for groups to participate to enjoy the contents or events. Otherwise, my group will be locked out of our enjoyment.

Derailed? I was the only post that referenced your post; everyone else wanted to hate on me for saying something different.

You opened this thread by posting your opinion on the games progression. I responded to that post by sharing my opinion on the games progression.

You enjoy the new content, awesome. You want to pay for said content. Good.
I am heading for the door and am taking my wallet with me . . . no one cares. No one is going to miss me and my friend.
