I am having trouble finishing the Wrothgar Storyline. Please someone tell me Malacath destroys these idiots? I am not even an Orc. I'm an Imperial and I actually prefer the Bretons but... like.... dude... this is just... sad. It is like I am witnessing the shared PTSD of the Orcs who suffered such a moral defeat that they don't even know who they really are.
I hope the next DLC is better. I only purchased the ones that came with extra goodies so now I get to do all the pure storyline ones.

Also, quests in ESO generally try to make you the hero and give you heroic feats for your allies to depend on you for. Sometimes they mix it up where you're assisting a greater force.
And I think many orcs may share your opinion of the King's actions like with any royal. Not everyone agrees, especially when it comes to Orsinium.

Excuse me. King Emric didn't need me to fight his brother for him because he was to much of a coward to fight the duel himself. I have my doubts about the Elven Queen but those are of an entirely different type. Not every quest line or faction or whatever forces me into this role of being their hero because they are complete cowards. Only the two who boast the most about how fearless and tough they are which so far for me has been Eboneheart Pact and Trinnimac Orcs have.
Thankfully Narvas sent me to a Malacath cult house in Orcisnium. I was loosing my mind. It isn't that I am in agreement with how those who follow Malacath live. It is that I become overwhelmed with pitty for the Trinnimac cultist because they are so sad and depressing. It is a total buzz kill and it is bringing me down. You know what I mean? It isn't that they are "bad people" it is just that they suck or whatever at life.

As we said, you have to keep playing. Not going to spoil it, but I will say that at some point in the respective story lines, both the Orc King and the Skald King get into the thick of the action, and they're not exactly slouches (at least, as far as any companion NPC goes - they're not up to the player standard, but you could just stand back holding block and still finish the game in a timely manner if they were).

I disagree. King Emric fought for himself while he sent me to fight other battles because the Daggerfall Covenant was getting attacked on multiple fronts from what I remember. Queen Aryenn also didn't need saving or for me to fight their duels for them but she isn't as important to Tamriel as King Camoran Aeradan. Sadly, she just doesn't really matter and she is also overly dependent on Raz to solve all her problems making King Emric the only real choice during the uncertain times of the 2nd Era as he doesn't rely on just one person or even the Vestige to solve all his problems. As for the side stories Vivec was dying and you cannot begrudge someone in the infirmary for asking for help and so on. So it really is just the Nords and the Orcs who are cowards.

How does Aryenn not matter? How is she less important than King Camoran. She's literally his leader after saving his kingdom.
I loved how Wrothgar portrayed Orcs as multidimensional beings with depth, beforehand I was sort of fearing it would just be an entire DLC of 'Gurgblurg go smash!' but it turned out to be far more interesting. To each their own I suppose.
Also, it's not that common for rulers to be charging into battle on the front lines, a ruler usually requires more skills than knowing how to fight. A good ruler, that is. And as for Orsinium, the story will have to unfold.

I never said King Emric fought in the front line. He just delegated power so he could act as a general or king elsewhere while I fought a different battle for him. He's also the only protagonist who doesn't rely on the same people. He has the most number of NPCs helpers during the storyline. Not the most help over all but the most number of different helpers. It isn't all just Raz doing literally everything or running around with the Jarl for an entire adventure. Until the very end of the Daggerfall Covenant quest line King Emric is kind of aloof or an off to the side character and then around when he sends you to deal with the Ogres he starts to communicate more directly with you. The others start off the who show by acting like you're their equal and friend. It is a weakness. I don't mean to sound mean because I'd totally kick it and be friends with Queen Aryeen but she's way to personal for a Queen and way too in experienced. It is no point in even mentioning the Eboneheart Pact because they literally aren't even capable enough to attempt a claim. They don't have Raz to do everything and the Jarl isn't capable enough on his own to manage it.
