Question About U50 Werewolf Leveling

Does anyone know how Werewolf leveling works now?

While I was inside the Werewolf intro quest, the Werewolf skill line did not show up in my Skills list at all. It also did not gain any XP. It looks like you cannot level Werewolf inside the quest anymore.

Once I left the quest, the skill line finally appeared. I only had the Ultimate unlocked, so that was the only thing I could slot. All the other Werewolf skills require Werewolf level 2 or higher, so I could not slot anything else while transformed.

What I saw after leaving the quest:
  • The Werewolf skill line does not exist or gain XP inside the intro quest
  • After leaving, only the Ultimate is available
  • The skill line only moved when the Ultimate itself ranked up
  • Even with Vestige Level and a 100 percent XP scroll at Dolmens for about two hours, I barely hit Werewolf 2
  • I had to remorph the Ultimate because maxing the first morph was not enough to finish level 1

Is this really the intended way to level Werewolf now, or is there a faster method I am missing?

You don't officially unlock the line until you do the quest, so you will have to wait for that.

Werewolf levels by feeding, so make sure you're eating everything as you go. Public Dungeons are actually great for that. Once you unlock the skills, they level with XP as normal. At the start, all you'll have is the ult and light attacks, but as you feed you'll start to get the other skills unlocked.

Werewolf does not level by feeding. That's how it worked in Skyrim.

ESO's Werewolf levels up by getting killing blows while transformed.

I can 100% confirm that their base level is locked to the skills leveling up. Each time my ultimate got a rank, I got about 15 - 20 of the base werewolf level. Each and every time. I got 0 xp to my base level except for the skill rank up

If I wasn't then i would have gotten no experience at all. I was getting exp from all kills for my ultimate, but the base bar didn't move until the ultimate ranked up.

No point in sticking in the instance now. Werewolf does not lose form while not in combat. Be sure to feed after every kill and maintain that werewolf form indefinitely.

The skeevers and wolves in Bankoria were delicious.
(Math before coffee, except after 3, is not for me)
