I think the point was that vengeance is already causing accesabilty problems to vendors that were previously easy to access. Personally I'm afraid to go into vengeance. I'm afraid the changes made for the game mode might carry over to normal ESO game mode just like the disaster when the PTS builds and banks got transferred to normal live ESO. I don't want to risk my account being shut down for a month because ZOS created a buggy system.
I was referring to GH you wont see me in vengeance unless its at the gate looking at the map to confirm its indeed still a zerg fest with one faction dominating the map. In pc na its ep.Zos then: Vengeance is just a test bro

✭I guess that explains why you don't seem to know what you're talking about. There are all sizes of groups and organization in vengeance on PC-NA. Last night it were lots of DC 2 or 3 to 1 vs EP, with minimal AD. Sadly with no faction lock it is rather easy to just hop to the winning side, but that is on ZoS and the community to fix. Though the community will always choose the easier/cheesier option, GH was majority pulse gankers and werewolves on U50 launch (new cheese mythic). When you can't rely anymore on the effects from sets or enchants, you automatically need to play with more skill. Let's not act like Gray Host doesn't have zerg groups.
Vengeance has plenty of time where there are large scale battles - and those are actual battles, not the meatball strat you so commonly see in regular PvP.
Too bad that the only "skill" in vengeance is how big the zerg is.
That is the one downside to leveling the playing field - without anything to really buff a character, what you end up with is everyone doing (relatively) similar damage or having similar regens. Which means that when a group comes up to you as an individual, the odds of making it out alive are slim.
On the other hand, this does mean that five less skilled players running into a group of five experienced PvP players, have a better chance of at least getting a few kills.
In GH, five inexperienced players would get mopped by one player due to them not knowing the meta.2 -

xR3ACTORx✭✭✭✭✭Vengeance has none of the U50 updates, literally, no masteries, no werewolf, nothing. It’s a terrible game mode for existing players. If they really intend on it being some sort of on ramp for new players they need to fix their marketing, most people have no clue ESO is a PvP game, because all the marketing is story driven cinematics.
It’s a shame so much resources have been put on this, can’t wait to sit in an hour long GH queue tonight during my 2 hour play window. Awesome.

ZOS gave the pvp communities an overpowered werewolf which doesn't work in Vengeance,while they released Vengeance at the same time?
That's hilarious as back then when they introduced Subclassing on Xbox on the same day as they introduced Vengeance for two weeks.
But we got the "2 weeks double XP bonus" 2 weeks prior the release of subclassing on console.
I wonder who is responsible for planning this.

First, there is a mismatch which players need to be aware off.
In Grey Host, the population cap per faction is 120. In Vengeance, the population cap per faction is 300. This means basically there are 2.5x as many people in Vengeance as there are per faction when the UI shows both campaigns having the same number of population bars.
This is a UI error that needs to be addressed by ZOS because people think no one is in Vengeance when in fact there are what is equal to 3 bars of population in Grey Host. You can go into Vengeance in prime time while waiting for your GH queue to pop and see lots of players in there running around taking things on the map. The UI showing one bar on GH and one bar on Vengeance are usually two different things simply because the pop cap UI just doesn't account for different pop caps on different servers.
Second, Vengeance is still a testing ground where the Devs are trying to figure out how to preserve as many playing styles as possible but get rid of:- "my skills don't go off!"
- "Why can't I heal!"
- "Dodge! Dodge Dodge! Are you KIDDING me?!"
- "Oh My Gawd the LAG!"
- "My frames are below 10!"
- "Even the MUSIC is cutting out!"
Getting people into Vengeance to test their changes and new ideas is literally the only way to fix that litany of complaints above.
With enough testing we will end up with a combat system that gets rid of the multi-hour queues we have now and gets us something where ball groups and mega-zergs aren't bringing the server to a screeching halt.
But without testing we get no fixes.
So while waiting for your GH queue to pop, go into Vengeance and HELP solve the problem.
Boycotting Vengeance or crying about how you don't like it is being part of the problem, not part of the solution.
Those are just simple facts.But yeah ZOS...Cloak was the problem.
