Remembering that ^^ and knowing the route through each area is not a big ask. If anything shortening the distance from which the glow can be seen would actually eliminate some misdirection that can happen, especially in the orange section.Nemesis7884 wrote: »Yes I know there are guides online - i just dont think having to learn routes by heart is a good experience tbh...
Remembering the routes is nothing in comparison to remembering what skills you need to fire and when, not to mention the other mechs that occur in the trial.

Which of the red circles is supposed to be a red triangle, or does it not work that way? (Only been in once so far, and ran purple)

The through-the-wall outline is nice, but I've led a few pugs and it's often not obvious enough for them what they should do out there, which starts a cascading effect when groups 2 and 3 also can't tell what to do.
To be honest, nothing is 'complicated' once you know it. But its getting there that is really complicated and frustrating. Its easy to say, "oh well you just follow this path" but saying it and um doing it are not exactly the same. Like the red area is full of these grapples, some are very hard to see. Especially if you are new. Very hard to get around, very easy to fall. It happens.

Increasing the distance the cradle glows won't help that, and will likely make it worse. The problem with giving people an obvious point to get to is that they will look for the shortest route between two points - a straight line.
