Unless I had some addon doing it, you can see what difficulty another player is on. It’s by their name/healthbar when you put your cursor over them. Their healthbar also looks fancier.

I am kinda surprised that there is even a exp bonus since for 1000% some one will figure out (or already did) some crazy grinding spot where you kill weak enemies with AOE before they can even hit you so increased damage in PvE does not matter etc, but you can level up skills or champion point hyper fast.

I see where you are coming from but i fundementally disagree. There needs to be incentive for increasing the games difficulty, and currently their isnt enough incentive imo. The challenge itself is not enough to warrent playing the harder difficulty.
And on a fundemetnal level, i believe players should be rewarded for achieving difficult things, and this should not be removed at the expense of people that don't want to try to achieve said thing. They put the time and effort for it, so they should be rewarded.
To me, it would be more unfair for the person that invests more of their time and efforts but still gets the same rewards as someone who didnt invest anything at all.

I would agree with you if there were separate instances for different difficulty settings. Since we do not have them, all a Vestige needs to "achieve" the rewards is to wait for an Adventurer(s) to show up and blow up everything in the vicinity.
I'm not saying that all Vestige players are going to do this, and I also know that current extra xp and extra gold are not really the kind of rewards most players care about. BUT if they start adding something really desirable, all this talk about efforts will go out of the window.

Yeah that is a fair point. People could essentially get the rewards of a difficult setting without actually doing anything difficult.

the thing that it would impact the most will likely be spellscar farming in craglorn, as thats an overland area of the zone
while the bonuses and such wouldnt work for something BRP or likely skyreach farming (since both are basically dungeon instances)
