The build system is one of ESO's biggest boons... and drawbacks
Many people, like me, love to create custom builds on the Elder Scrolls Online, using the various systems the game offers to create truly amazing characters and concepts.
... However, I wouldn't doubt a large chunk of the Playerbase would prefer if it didn't exist, and there's plenty of people who don't interact with it at all, causing their characters to be wildly less powerful than the strongest builds out there.
Most of the new players I meet on group finder and in random dungeons are either just vibing with their builds and get hated on for "holding the group back" by tryhards, or being forced to look up youtube guides just so they can play the content they love, like Trials or Dungeons, or even quests with out of place powerful enemies!
Some players might not understand what the build system is, due to not playing these types of games or maybe not understanding video games well in general but still loving the Elder Scrolls universe.
... But what if it didn't have to be like this? What if you could just select a build and run with it, maybe have the option to change the skills around as the Player wishes, but otherwise the stats and power of the build are all around solid? That way all that would matter for that player is combat skill, not theorycrafting skill.
Obviously, this would be an optional system, but having the option to not worry about your character much and focus on the game's amazing combat, lore, and mechanics, would be a wonderful thing to be included in the game.
Let me know what you guys think below, I think there's definitely a way to include this without messing with the game's current structure.

I would use this mechanic
I would not use this mechanic, but I wouldn't mind its inclusion
I would not use this mechanic, and its inclusion would bother me
