Fort Dawnguard as a Group Dungeon

After getting back into skyrim (and enjoying it once more after years lol) i've been gathering much knowledge i can about the dawnguard and its inhabitants in the 2nd era. They had a knack for using blessed equipment imbued with Heliomancy and other utilities, what's more interesting is that the fort was built as a prison and was part of the rift at the time. The jarls son was a vampire at the time and was locked up within, some say other dawnguard members became vampires themselves, desiring power. Eventually remaining members of the order had to put him down, and the jarl exiled the dawnguard for this, charged with treachery. Quite the story but something like this would be perfect for a new group dungeon, a dawnguard motif and new sets that use a combination of heliomancy and vampiric power (the monster set being the vampiric part). I looked around to see exactly what year in the 2nd era these events took place, but sadly i haven't found a clue.

    True, but that's just 1 thing that mentions them. Plus silver bolts as a damaging ability is kinda weak from my time testing it.

    Correction, an ability and a morph from the templar references the dawnguard too. Sun fire and vampire's bane.

    This would be cool. Especially if all/most of the dungeon is inside the fort. One of my favorite parts about Moonhunter Keep is the vibe of traversing through the huge manor. I like houses/buildings like that as dungeon environment settings.

    Makes me wonder how a dawnguard motif would look like design wise.

    As others have mentioned the group exists prior to ESO as seen by the skills that mention them.

    Skyrim tells us they were founded in the second era, to imprison/protect the Jarl of Riftens son but ended up having to kill him and they were banished. It also tells us they turned themselves into vampire for more power and hunted over the Rift till someone ended them.

    The Jarl of Riften is suspiciously abscent in ESO, we know his name and abit about actions he has done. But nothing really personal or why hes not in the game (there is no mention of him being missing or him being away, there is simply no sign of him).

    So maybe they could tie it together with a Dungeon, the Dawnguard have turned themselves into vampires and a group loyal to the original mission are loosing and needs our help to stop them. In the course of the mission the Jarls son is killed and the vampire dawnguard are wiped out. But the Jarl then banishes the few surviving members.

    Huh, very interesting. So riftens jarl is not even in eso at all? Never noticed that, hell I've been on eso for 8 years.

    Please give us Werewolf Skill Styles (for customizing our fur color) Added in Update 50!, Grimoires/Scribing skills (to fill in the holes in our builds), and Companions (to transform with).

    To be fair, Castle Thorn already exists. Our whole objective in that dungeon is to hunt down a vampire. Kyne's Aegis similarly has us slaying a vampire who is the final boss of that trial.

    If fort dawnguard were to be a group dungeon all the enemies in it would just be fallen dawnguard, basic vampires, no special powers. Mainly using the gear and abilities from their order for malicious intent, select number would even have access to heliomancy.

    You might think a vampire using heliomancy would kill it, but it would dark heliomancy, referencing the bloodcurse prophecy of Auri-El's Bow.

    How would a Dawnguard motif look like in eso? This is the ancient dawnguard i'm talking about here after all. Any ideas?
