Ideally, we would want to maximize the number of players trying Werewolf for the first time, and minimize the number of players who will no longer be playing Werewolf after the refresh.

EDIT: If you're curious, I also ran this poll on the ESO subreddit about a week ago, for the duration of a week. At the risk of potentially skewing the results here (although I believe enough time has passed here for all the regulars to have seen and voted in this poll) here are the results from that poll, for comparison:

I may turn one of my others into a Werewolf to see how bad the flirt line is.

Whether I'll stay a werwolf is TBD. I personally prefer my characters not morphed into something else so probably not too much.

Werewolf and Vampire are not something Ive really been super into. They are very interesting and good editions to the storyline and everything but I really love my characters more.

This kind of sums it up. I dont like my characters being turned into something theyre not meant to be. I do think the Werewolf refresh is an improvement. The way they've updated the cure and everything is a good thing. It should be simpler to aquire it and undo it. Its not something that's so invasive it ruins our characters like Subclass either, thank the Divines.

Current werewolf is one of the strongest one bar builds you can play. I don't play one bar builds though so in its current form it's completely obsolete for me.

PTS werewolf is one of the most boring things I've tried in ESO. 2 DOTs (one of them being 30 seconds long), a 15 second buff, and an "ultimate". Most of the fight you're just mashing your spammable. I honestly have to wonder how anyone can find this fun.

Build variety is also severely lacking with the Signet being so far ahead of anything else that you're basically locked into it. One of your 5 piece sets is also locked to Null Arca, Sul-Xan, or Ansuul too. So character and build expression is nonexistent.

I haven't used WW before, but my warden doesn't really use vampirism for PvP now, so I'd like to switch her to WW and use it while I wait for her refresh. Not sure if I'll use it all the time, but I like to have different builds on my characters. If it works well for what I do then I'll maybe add it on some of my weaker pure class builds while they wait for their refreshes.

Obviously had werewolves before but not really playing the archetype in any serious capacity. Will check out the refresh though, but honestly ESO's scope is always so small and limited I'd barely imagine it being a "wow" thing or anything beyond just acceptable, so will probably remain an RP option at best and forgotten feature in worst case.

Only if I can turn of the stupid annoying bad howling. On everyone.

Having played pvp for years & through the time when nearly everyone was a werewolf, that noise is one of the most irritating, triggering & awful in the game.

In TES, playing as a vampire or werewolf has never appealed to me. I don't do it in the single-player games (unless forced to because of a questline, in which case I seek the cure ASAP), and I won't be doing it here.

You'll be happy to know that the howling SFX has been completely changed. It's now much quieter, only plays on every other cast of Hircine's Bounty and its morphs if spammed, and you can no longer trigger it by sheathing/unsheathing while transformed.

I have a WW tank, but he's really a niche build, and I haven't had much use for him lately. Looking forward to making a more generalized build for brawling and try it out.

I didn't answer the poll as I'm on the fence. I had a WW on Xbox, the character has been recreated on PC but I haven't made him a WW (yet) and I'll decide when WW comes out after the refresh, I don't really know enough about the differences to make a decision.

As the character was a WW on Xbox (level 50/CP 1100) and on PC he isn't even level 20 (CP 530) yet, I'll wait to see the refresh. That said, I'll probably make him a WW anyway so I can decide on my own. Even if I'm not happy with the changes, I'll probably keep him "afflicted" just for the heck of it.

As an aside, I have a vampire necromancer character from the Xbox now on the PC who looks like a vampire but isn't cursed yet. He's only level 17 and I've always felt that you should wait until level 50 to make them vampires. I know necro and vamp aren't considered very powerful class/skill but I don't worry about them being any good, it's more about playing a certain way. I have other characters that I can main, although at my age and health, I'll never be that "gud".

My elf is a tiny Bosmer who can travel time. When she was in the 4th Era (Skyrim), the Fighters Guild initiation involved becoming a werewolf. She is so tiny that it turned her into a werefox. She ran under a table and waited until it wore off. Not gonna try THAT again!

i have at least 1 character who is a WW, that has been sitting in limbo for a bit because hes not been that good as a warden main class the aeries cry is far less effective while in WW form

theres also some other pain points that WW has like the timer that can run out when sitting around, no point to ultimate generation while in WW form (i used to run an oakensoul WW build because that was pretty good to fill in some buffs WW misses but the minor heroism was useless IN WW form)

Every character I have is both a werewolf and a vampire using the armory.

However in 90% of what I run in eso werewolf is not suitable or is considered a burden on the group, I am hoping this changes with the update.

I do not currently play werewolf but I have before (i.e. I have two werewolves but I don’t play them as werewolves the vast majority of the time), so I don’t really feel like any of the options are right for me. I will try werewolf again after the update.
