Guild spamming is back I guess

Been watching this account while waiting for a Battlegrounds to pop and I notice that after every couple of mins it will will move left and right.
I don't get invites since I am blacklisted (lol) but I'm sure if I go make a new account and go to Vulkhel guard I will be invited.
Same guild, fresh level 4 character/account. Gotta be a joke at this rate!

LittleLionLeone✭✭✭✭Dang they left as soon as I made my new account. Definitely a spammer though, it all adds up to their usual mo. Fresh out of the tutorial, parked in high traffic area for hours, and facing the wayshrine.

He was testing as this is a known problem with the guild. There's been posts for a few years (?) now about a guild using the API to spam invites. I didn't do a search to dig them out yet they are there. Last one was January/February time frame?5 -

Yeah when they are targeting fresh accounts I would say so. Nothing wrong with making new accounts to get screenshots of their behavior.2 -

He was testing as this is a known problem with the guild. There's been posts for a few years (?) now about a guild using the API to spam invites. I didn't do a search to dig them out yet they are there. Last one was January/February time frame?
I'm aware. But if the issue at hand is to be taken seriously, it needs to be drumming up complaints organically. Going out of the way to make it happen could possibly assist in it getting ignored.0 -

It won't get complaints organically, this has been going on for years. On here it's only a select few that care to make a post about it. Calling it out and spreading awareness.
I am not going out of my way to make it happen. They sit there with an addon that spams out invites to people it hasn't blacklisted. I merely showcase it.2 -
FurryCandyHearts✭✭✭The one i hated was one spamming me to get me to join and then after i joined they spammed me to join discord and after i started getting rude about how i was invited to join the guild and i never gonna join discord they finally gave me the boot and blacklisted me. worst experience ever with a guild.0 -

Yeah that sounds like the guild I'm talking about. Spam you with invites and then spam you with dms saying you need to join their discord in 7 days.1 -

Report the guild for toxic behavior.
The more reports ZOS gets, maybe they'll actually see a problem with that guild.
ZOS need to ban the addon they're using. If they find accounts using it, they need to ban the account, then start banning the guild master and officers of the guild.1 -
Tallon_IV✭✭✭✭A few months ago, Kevin confirmed that the guild invite spam is not allowed and that they would be reaching out to those guild leaders as a final warning, so if it's still happening, be sure to report it, maybe even reference the post.
