Seems kinda meh to me.
I've been using various varieties of crushing shock pvp builds for years and its always been relatively effective.
Pulse gank build is basically winterborn + 1 other proc set, draugrkin, way of fire were the sets 2-3 years ago. They still work fine today. What supercharges it today is sublcassing acranist and sorc for two more beefy procs on light attack. LA into Crushing nets you six damage sources, two set procs, and a 60% or better chance for 5 status effects in one GCD.
Works great with shattered path, but also just as effective with Monomyth, or even Oakensoul.

ZOS has made a whole mechanic, battle spirit, but for some reason refuses to use it. They could leave it for PVE and nerf it in PVP by using something like "when battle spirit is active, these values are halved" or something. But, for some unknown reason, ZOS rarely relies on battle spirit.
It already has that. It's ready halved for battle spirit. And even with that it's that busted.
Can I pay for it instead?BardokRedSnow wrote: »You payin for it? It’s free from the night market lol

Maybe but Ele Sus is for free and does more damage with the right spec than what it should. You can easily get 1mil+ in a BG just from Ele Sus. That should not be a thing.
Until they find a fix to this build Im gonna use Esoteric Environment mythic and Sentry set
Esoteric gives you enough time to react + go after the enemy with Sentry's infinite detection range
Edit: Necro's bone armor has a morph that auto-pulls people attacking from range.

I agree in theory with that statement, but I have several builds where extreme focus on a narrow skill/ability can generate extreme performance. Much of that is dependent on the quality of the target.
A more effective argument would be made by a player like the OP being wrecked by the build rather than wrecking others with it.
I've heard a few things mentioned here:
Elemental Susceptibility
Not really the main culprit here because elemental susceptibility is balanced when you compare it to class abilities such as Deep Fissure or Disintegrating Dragonfire, which are usually run in place of ele sus on corresponding builds. Elemental Susceptibility only crosses the threshold of being broken when run with this mythic.

Folk really will make any argument, no matter how ridiculous, to keep their overpowered toys.

The underlying issue is that status effects deal way too much damage, with 0 drawbacks
Status effect damage has been overperforming for years. You can find overtuned status effect pressure builds as far back as Morrowind patch. Status effects should get a major overhaul and be more about unique debuffs rather than being free damage procs.
P.S
To add to someone earlier in the thread saying they'd use Esoteric to deal with the status effect damage.....since status effects are considered as "procs", and won't proc other procs, Esoteric ain't gonna mitigate the damage from status effects

That's not how that works lol. Esoteric works with any direct damage, proc sets and status effects included.
Proc sets have always procced "take damage" effects. They just can't proc anything else on the user's side.
Think of procs as pets; they count as their own entity. A user's own proc effect cannot proc another proc set that the user is wearing because the proc effect is not "wearing" the proc set.
However, on the target side, it doesn't matter what the source is. A set that procs upon taking damage doesn't care what the source of said damage is, because the target is wearing the set and any damage the target takes will proc the effect.

They rage.
They complain.
They threaten to quit, call it the end of ESO.
And then, they adapt.
All I wish for is a little less noise.

Where is the "good thing that happened for PvE"?
Unless you consider class and skill balance being calibrated around the assumption that everyone runs this mythic a good thing. I don't, because it is a shaky foundation and leaves everyone not running the mythic in the dust, whether it's in PvP or PvE.
I have already adapted by running this mythic on multiple builds, but this doesn't mean it's fun or good for the game... so you'll have to listen to this "noise" until the problem is solved. Sorry.

What part of this mythic also being insanely overtuned in PvE did you miss?

Are the monsters and bosses whining for nerfs now?
