The zone forces you to either have a strong solo build or group up. A new location with a story would be better, not endless mob-killing. We already have the Infinite Archive but this zone feels like I just jumped straight to the 4th floor
I agree with you OP and anyone that is saying they can solo it must be using hacks cos even large guild groups are saying it's hard. I went in with my hubby and our companions in our IA builds and we couldnt get past second group of mobs and we had a couple of random players killing mobs with us. It was very sad to watch them try and then fall down like potatoes.
It's heart breaking cos i love to give all eso content a good go but with this i hardly got started...no chance. Who on earth is testing these events on pts.

I promise you I'm not using hacks, but I agree wholeheartedly that this content is cracked and needs a normal mode, current mode can be called veteran JUST LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE GAME.
The average player is getting steamrolled and that's not okay for FOMO timed content, it's really not. If it was a permanent addition that people could work towards, that's fine, that's what trials are for. But this is not that.
As for my build, I'm running Hexos Ward, Oakensoul, and Brairheart as a redguard arcanist with tristat enchants, so I have about 30K HP and 30K armor with tons of shield and selfhealing. I can give more details if needed or if anyone's interested, it's not the best build in the world but I tried ring of the pale order style and found it too unforgiving.

I think this is also one of my issues.
They put rewards like dyes, which people want, behind a time limited content. The dyes that are part of other hard areas are all permanent, which means even if I can't get Emperor Red (or whatever that color is) now, I might be able to get it in the future.
These? We can theorize that the night market will come back at least 2 more times, but that means that if we miss out on one dye, by not being able to do this content at this moment, we aren't guaranteed for it to come back a fourth time to acquire that dye in the future. (and this is just the dye, I am sure others want other rewards that might not be guaranteed to be around permamently) Especially since by then most of the player base that COULD do the content already has the rewards and will want new rewards for night market.
So, now there are new rewards, will the old ones stay for people who want to get those? Will they have to choose between those old rewards and the new ones, meaning they are still behind if they happen to want one of the newer ones as well?
Basically I am all for hard content. I don't mind that this content isn't for me.
What I do mind is the FOMO of the desireable (in my eyes at least) rewards and the potential to miss out on them (I don't even know how we get the dye!) if we can't do the content and it is going to leave after a certain amount of time.

Exactly this, content should never have 3 gates either, and this has all three in spades.
It's difficult
It's timed
It's grindy
It's not well designed, it's not player friendly to ANYONE, especially once the newness wears off and the elites are done being spiteful towards the average player.
Plus people take breaks. Yeah it will come back, but I dunno about you guys, I take breaks, and can easily miss the second or third returning of the Night Market if I'm just not feeling the game ATM.
I`m on my first quest and I can`t even get past the first wave of enemies. THIS IS STUPID!

They don't work. Tried, tested and instakilled every time.
Also, the adds attack you while you're rezzing. No way to lose aggro if you float down before fully rezzing. Seems wrong that adds can attack you while you're dead waiting to be alive again. Bug?
Whose this "we" you speak of?
The player base that actually want something remotely challenging.
Your getting that, its an option for everyone. Mich like this event should have been

Well then I will skip this entirely, I died like 12 times already within 45 minutes. I was hoping for some enjoyment but it`s a NO for me. I wonder if ESO hired some developers from D2?

But when I went in on PCEU a short while ago, I couldn't see any other players around, and I got insta-killed (twice) by the first "mob" I encountered just inside the entry to the zone, so I'm not sure how I'm supposed to find any other players to zerg around with.
And I won't even get into how long it took me just to find the plaza so I could do the introductory quest, because I was running around Fargrave looking for a way in-- but apparently the only way to get in is to take a wayshrine in? So that was fun.
I want to give this new group content a chance-- and yes, I know it's group content, not solo content-- but it seems to be on the level of difficulty of a hard-mode veteran trial or something. I don't expect everything in the game to be accessible for me and completable by me, but I'm hoping to at least give this new content a chance before deciding whether to pkay it or forget it. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I'll even be able to give it a try, the way it's looking right now.
Maybe it will be different on PCNA, but PCEU is looking like a complete no-go at the hours when I play, because apparently there aren't enough players online at those hours who are interested in this new content.
You’re wrong, just type +zerg tomorrow I’ll carry you :P we already smashed 2750 points, EUPC.
Don’t get why you want harder overworld content. First time there’s anything slightly challenging and forum is full of “I can’t solo group content” posts xD hello, this is MMO.
Event isn’t even hard. Also you can completely skip it, just get your motif and don’t continue, there’s not even that much reward in it.
Game is already extremely easy, only vet trials and DLC dungeons are actually fun.
Stop pushing this, I’m afraid they’ll take it in the wrong direction.
