Porting out of IC with tel var limits needs to be removed

There are so many game breaking bugs, such as wardens charm that get you stuck in terrain. If you happen to have over 100 tel var, you cannot port out or use the /stuck command to get out.

    Can't you just port to the other instance of IC or have they gotten rid of that?

    it’s still there and i don’t think it can be gotten rid of. it’s the same thing that allows you to port to other campaigns in cyrodiil without having to jump to imperial city. Porting between ic instances drops you into the base.

    One thing should not be removed or added because of different bug. There was a try to fix warden charm, it is not successful yet, but it doesn't mean entire porting mechanic should be now changed because of it, no, but warden charm should be fixed. Solve the problem, not try to find a workaround.

    You know, if someone is invisible, they can move very abruptly and when I approach that player from a distance, they can teleport several meters because coordinates were not updated because of slight ping, so I can end up approaching them in the wrong place and they end up escaping. Let's remove invisibility then. It would remove the problem.

    It should have never been a thing in the first place.
    During the PTS, people were saying that you shouldn't be able to port out while in active PvP combat, that was ignored.
    They still have yet to fix the stuck in combat bug in PvP that has been around for years. They have even said to not ask for the stuck in combat to be fixed.
    I don't think Warden Charm will be fixed anytime soon, if ever.

    Limit should be raised to 1k telvar, and they need to fix being able to port to no-cp IC. This is mandatory to protect the integrity of the telvar system. For years now every single person who farms telvar has abused the queue system to do it risk-free, disappearing from the instance within seconds of being attacked or even just seeing another player while they're farming.

    In the upcoming update 50, they've made it so imperial retreat sigils can be used in combat. That is your counterplay option and will allow you to exit IC while in combat regardless of how much telvar you're carrying, just not for free and not while under direct attack from another player.

    You can't port within "seconds", it does take longer than that, even with the addon.

    This actually goes against what the "abuse" is.
    Yes, you can get them at a cost, but it's about abusing being able to port with "no risk".
    The reality is that you should be able to port if NOT under attack and not be able to port while under attack, even with the retreat sigils.

    Being able to port in combat with a stone is at least understandable imo. If you have teleport stone, you are standing casting it, and if it happened so you casted it to the end staying alive, you can go. If it is interruptible as any skill with cast time, it is even better. If not, well, you will be able to port with save ultimate, in some situations. And still, you can be stunned and it will prevent further casting. Also, it will work OK with infinite combat bug, so it will be less annoying. Looks like it is a middleground imo, but ability to port between IC instances should be fixed asap, and moreover it should not be the hard fix, it is not rework of a whole class where you have to think how skills are going to work together, it is just a "yes/no" check! I saw no response in previous thread about that tho :( Looks like that was done and left half-way as usual.

    All of this is entirely irrelevant, since you can still port out for free, instantly, whilst in combat, if you just queue for the other Imperial City instance. Nothing changed at all. The abuse is still there all the same; if not even stronger than ever before, because you don't even need to go to Cyrodiil first.

    No. Just no. They can keep the teleport right where it is. I spend more time in IC than Cyrodiil these days, and I have no desire to run through the sewers or spend significant amounts of AP on a method to leave when I want to bank my Tel Var.

    People going on and on about “the integrity of the risk-reward system” or whatever are just mad they couldn’t collect easy Tel Var by fighting and killing people who can’t or don’t want to fight. The people who want to engage in the PVP will do so. No need to force the people who don’t by making an already tight travel restriction even more draconian, especially when no one notably asked for it in the first place.

    It was being asking for a so long time, many people already left the game, returned and this change hit only recently. When you joined forum, people already stopped asking because they lost faith to ever see this change.

    Luckily for the time being (until people get that removed next) you should be able to fix this by queueing for the other IC instance.
    Hoping for more playable races.

    I just want werewolf to be viable in endgame PvE T.T (which not allowed according to PTS update 50)

    Then fight with this bug, what IC queue did to you? Leave it alone. If you define warden charm bug as main problem, create topic about that.

    You can easily glitch people under terrain and inside objects with any knockback/charm skill. Zos cant fix those, but zos needs to give us a working solution to get out of a game breaking bug.

    It wasnt working since my character was flying and kept force logging me out.

    I never understood why this rule was applied in the first place. It seems totally unnecessary and counter-intuitive.

    If porting out is your way of avoiding conflict….. so what? Does this somehow ruin the zone? Nope. Is it out of spirit with the zone? Nope. Was it perfectly acceptable for years? Yep.

    ZOS can't fix invisibility position desync, we need working solution to get out of game breaking bug. Remove invisibility. This is solution you want?

    I finished everything in there before U49. And I will never worry about it again. If they add new stuff to IC? I will never worry about it again. If anyone still goes there, I hope they change it back to the way it was for your sake.

    Yeah, so did I but sometimes I still go. Things are better in IC than in Cyrodiil but in some ways it's kind of miserable when you have players not on same skill level or like I saw tonight, a bug or something where I couldn't move at all. There was no frost animation or like a stun indicator, I just couldn't run or roll dodge at all. Then other times my ult refuses to go off, sometims the ult flashes like its charged and then it doesn't fire cause it's not completely charged. And everyone uses so damn much CC none of the fights are fair and you can't escape, not unlike New World PvP, which I learned to hate overtime, so much so I left the game entirely because it was massively scaled in favor of groups.

    Have had alot of strange issues in IC recently. My sympathy and sincerest condolences to anyone new who has to walk thru that fresh hell with green ears.
