This simple change would be a huge QoL upgrade for so many supports. Some enjoy it, but more often than not, there's a debate over who's forced into the set.
This one change would make it feel so much better and more enjoyable.
I might hate running the set less if this change happened. +1 to requesting it.
I would also be interested in seeing set cap adjusted in pvp vs pve spaces since it might make some support sets more viable/desirable that just need a little more love to be considered.
This also makes leaning to heal more difficult because people need to manage their rotation plus two heavy attacks. It's a lot. I would prefer 1 heavy gave it to 12 people, but I guess it would be fine if it procced off of medium attacks.
It would be nice, but in my opinion by no way essential, it's not difficult to keep up and allows you to invest in more healing power as things stand at the moment because you get the resources from the HA.
I would prefer all buff to be smart applied similar to RO (but this is where this suggest wins out, buffs hitting up to 12 would also do this without the need for tracking who was carrying what buff)
Even if the duration were reduced by the number of people that received the buff. One heavy attack every 6 seconds is better than 2 heavy attacks at eleventeen seconds.
as someone who loves being the healer in trials, with rojo/spaulder being one of the builds I use, I'd love to have to micro manage the buff a lot less.
That said, the build, and healers in general need that resource restore and mending buff from the resto heavy attack anyway. so changing it to 1 wouldn't change how I healed much.
except I'd probably not have to have an add on to track when roaring was dropping, I'd be able to see it for myself easily
Excluding easily obtainable Overland sets, many support sets require increasing the number of targets, reducing cooldown time, or extending buff duration. These include, but are not limited to: Spaulder of Ruin, Magma Incarnate, Gryphon's Reprisal, Drake's Rush, Crusader, etc.
