What is going on?!

OK so I am not one to really complain about things, especially at the release of an MMO. But tonight I'm in game and watching bots literally float around streaking across the screen farming mobs between 3 or 4 points. I though you guys were going to be more proactive about this and yet the exploits are getting worse. Not to mention watching bots log in and out under a node or chest. 4 of them standing there and all you can see is the top of their heads cause there underground. During this time of blatant exploit abuse there is not one GM on. These bot trains running thru starter areas is out of hand. I know you are aware of these issues obviously but it really is starting to affect my game play and opinions of this game.

    This came in another thread:
The same thinsufferappening on the US server. The other day the bot train was in windhelm. Saw 3 GMs there banning for a long time, but the bots were endless. The just never stopped coming out of the waypoint. Some of the bots were even using a speed hack and going through the terrain and passing right through building to the next quest spot. The GMs ended up leaving. The bots never stopped. Reporting isn't going to help, you would literally be there reporting non-stop for days. Its something the ESO staff is aware of and they are working on it I'm sure. But they have better figure it out fast or their revenue Is going to suffer.

Yeah... that about sums it up. :(

And I have been trying the last 35 minutes to get a screen shot of these 3 bots flying thru the ground and above stuff farming the same 4 or 5 spots. And I'm on the US server. And yes, I loved this game and bugs and such are expected but my god these bots are getting to be unbearable. I've been more than patient and went about my business hoping for something to be done, but it seems that it's getting worse and today was discouraging to say the least with the terrain and speed hacks. It is horrible. And they're not even hiding it. With the blinking across the screen and the dumb obvious names... c'mon guys this isn't the mid 90's and Ultima Online. We've come a LONG way and this is just getting on my nerves,

don't expect any help from customer service. Let's be real the only thing they can do is tell you they can't do anything or find a way to make you feel like its your fault that they couldn't do anything the bottom line you'll get a lot of things from them run around headaches stressed but you're not get any help.
That which we obtain to cheap we esteem to lightly, it is dearness only that gives everything its value.

Oh...be assured ZOE is doing something... and they will do it even faster if subscription numbers fall and the accountants start to get upset with the Dev's

Right now the only solution I found is to log-out and log-in until ending up in an instance where the bot plague is bearable. Sure, this is not the optimal solution...but for me it is this, or quitting the game altogether.

Please remove the names of the bots. Naming and shaming, although I agree, is against the forums rules and can get you Game banned. Yes forum banned=game banned.

Is this happening in the US megaserver only? Couldn't notice that in the EU server where I'm playing.

The problems with the EU servers are no less :) Try going to Windhelm (Eastmarch) and stand at Thane Mera Stormcloak for a while, you'll see 50+ bots pass by in about 5 minutes times, turning in talk-only quests, getting leveled up, then no-clip hacking (and thus flying/traveling THROUGH the ground) to the next quest-giver doing the same thing again with another quests.

ESO uses Skyrim console engine in the background. So when the bot programmer knows the commands (had so much practice in the past) all that is needed is a way to send them to the console and voila.

The game engine needs a lockdown.

It needs a separation between user end commands and admin end commands.

All I can add to all of the above : Bots playing it they way - pretty much like been advertised to us. Working as intended, the way ZOS sees it.

lol i have never seen bots so rampant and defiant in any mmo ever since my first mmo Ultima Online.

Zenimax is a joke really. From the exploits, bank bugs, quest bugs, skill bugs, poor ui, lag and loading and bots, eso is a big fail.

The best and polished online experience said by Matt? lol even my hamsters are laughing.

For info, this post is simply wrong. ESO isn't Creation. It allows LUA addons, however these can't do the things bots are doing - if you google Elder Scrolls Online bots, you will see they are doing things like sending keypresses to windows etc to move.

They've stopped calling it Gamebryo? :p

But, yeah, some of this is actually a little more advanced then that, it's not sending key presses, it's uploading invalid location data, hence the teleporting.

But, yeah, as far as I can tell this isn't Gamebryo... or at least, if it is, it's not the same iteration Bethesda's using.
