Reported 8+ bots in one location.

So I decided to start a new alt and went Khenarthi's Roost to quest. After a while I stumpled over a character moving in wierd patterns, so I follow it around and it became clear it was a bot farming crafting materials. I reported it and continued for a while and decided to head to Minstral to log out for the morning. In the area in front of the main bridge (the one down by the water), I saw a character mining with a long gibberish name, so I stayed and stalked several characters in the area. In the next 20 min, I reported some 8+ bots in just that small location and some of them were realy hard to catch because they used hacks:

- Speedhack
- Skywalk
- Walk though solid objects/walls
- Hiding under ground

Some of them moved so fast I was almost unable to target them and I had to write down their names bits of the time to get it right.
I also noticed that it sounded like some of them mined the same node twice before it vanished.

If I loged out and changed fase, I could probably catch another 10, but I only have limited time to play.

Final note: I couldn't sleep so I played early morning (5 am), which is where I cought them. I think they're taking advantage of low population hours to avoid detection and to get nodes for themselves.

I highly recommend the mod FastReport, but yeah - the bots are completely out of control. ZOS knows it, and heaven only knows what they'll do to fix it.

Update: Reported so many bots area now, that I'm not allowed to file more reports without waiting a few minutes. Off to bed : /

Just loged in now with my alt and Khenarthi's Roost is still infested with hacking bots, so I try to report one only to find that my ability to report has been disabled/blocked.

This game is in a sad state, so I wont be renewing my subscribtion : /

Personally I've entirely given up on reporting in-world bots. In-game mailers I still do report, but in-world costs more time by now then you get to play.

If you go to certain area's (i.e Windhelm) you'll see 50+ bots come by within a 5 minute timeframe, try reporting that, it's impossible.

Bleakrock , Roost, Stonefalls .. everywhere overrun with bots. Just seen 20+ in Stonefalls farming Dreugh. Reported a few but gave up.

After 6+ weeks the game it's worse than ever with pathing bots, flying bots, tele-bots, underground-bots, invisi-bots .. and Googlnig shows huge numbers of bots and players using them: most of those farming Dreugh are likely not RMT, one group was clearly a multi-boxer using a bot to make his group '/follow', all characters had reasonable names and they weren't the standard Templars spamming 'spear', they were mages with clannfear pets.

So many hours later and there are now God knows how many running around the Coral area killing Dreugh .. seems all the reporting I did was a total waste of time.

GG ZOS. Remind me, what's the point of us bothering to report them again?

You can report 1 bot and include in your message about how many are in that immediate area. I reported 23 bots using 1 report, took only 10 minutes for them to get shutdown.

I was in coldharbour at the weekend and they were spawning/arriving at a wayshrine there on a regular basis - about one a minute or so. Then in a dungeon nearby there was one (soul shriven jammies, nonsense name) just jumping up and down repeatedly. Then it vanished. I recorded it but haven't had chance to upload it yet.

Hey, how do you know? Do you have a prove?

Sebokan, sometimes it's better to report just one and write about the local plague in the description. Sometimes I notice bot spawn places but then trying to report every of them is like trying to report every ant in an anthill. Spawning point are producing new bots very fast and that *** seem to be temporary. Bots in Windhelm spawn probably near the Wayshrine, then they make some simple local quest, and then soon as they accomplish it, they "commit suicide". All in one and the same place in the city. They just fall over and die, one by one. I don't get it though.

Edit: Oh, I got it! They're quest bots collecting the quest reward.
