Werewolf Ulti Gen

Just wanted to post for all my interested, non-PTS forum goers>

In combat, my non-devour and non-other-werewolves werewolf (ulti) sustain is horrid. Even when using all of my other skills I'm struggling to stay in form, in combat for even a minute.

Just thought I'd say something here.

If you need a point of reference, think about your normal combat ulti gen (so light attack/heal to get your normal ulti gen) and then imagine 80 ult being removed on average every 10 seconds competing against that.

    Suggestion, maybe update salvation to significantly help with solo-werewolf-sustain and possibly bump the wep/spell damage to 600 since that is the definitive "werewolf" set.

    Heya, thanks for testing! Were you a pack leader, or a berserker?

    That makes sense. Berserker is definitely a more damage focused morph. If you're able, can you check the pack leader? Damage loss should be relatively minimal, but uptime should skyrocket (4 ult/s in combat is essentially free).

    Pack Leader benefits from the direwolves reducing ultimate drain and is a non-issue, just like on live. Zerker alone is nigh impossible to sustain permanently in combat now, while it's relatively easy to do that on live with just a single dot ticking (or even a ravage health potion) as the return on time is slightly greater than the drain.

    The damage loss is insurmountable. 9k over 3 seconds, stackable x5 for bleed AND berserk VS 2k over 3 seconds with my current gear for the packleader.

    If I'm damage, I want to go berserker. I should not need to start with 500 ult just to have leeway for sustain and then still lose my ult in around a minute b/c I am a damage dealer.

    ///

    If anything, if I am using ALL of my skills at a frequent pace, I should be rewarded with similar uptimes or slightly less outside of fury than live.

    Using Fury on cooldown gives a slight bit of leeway since you're still generating ultimate while it's active and ceases drain but it's more of a delaying the inevitable rather than a solution.

    I'd also like to point out that the stuck in combat bug is definitely still a thing (I got stuck in combat with one of my test dummies last night) and that 100% negates the benefit of no ultimate drain outside combat.

    You’re able to shift in and out of form now as long as you have 100+ ult left, so reverting and using ult generating abilities on your bar, then shifting back can be pretty effective. Can also use that opportunity to apply effects that aren’t available in WW.

    Doing this consumes ult and dumps fury. It's counterintuitive to design from what I can see.
