Why is the Skill Style for Tome-Bearer's Inspiration ORANGE?

Why is the Skill Style for Tome-Bearer's Inspiration ORANGE when the other Arcanist Skill Styles are blue?

I was looking forward to getting the last 2 Arcanist skills I use to be a calm pleasant blue but this one is orange. And to make matters worse the only place I have seen it available is on Page 9 Premium Tomes.

I am beyond frustrated that something like this would be done...

Because the orange style is not from the same "pack" as the blue styles.

If you observe the pattern of DK, we had the original couple of blue styles from years ago. Then we got most of the rest of the remaining skills during its class refresh. But the final two skills to "complete the pack" were reserved for Gold Coast Bazaar purchases. If you do all of those things then you have an entire blue "pack" of DK skills.

You will likely have to wait for the Arcanist class refresh to get the majority of the blue skill styles. Otherwise, you can buy two more from the Gold Coast Bazaar. The orange pack, like the Celestial Sorcerer style, are not meant to articulate with that "pack", they are more one-offs if you happen to find them interesting on their own.

    Hopefully this answers your question.

It does match the jack-o’-lantern ultimate though.

I like it. I like the color choice, and I'm liking each of my Archanist skills being different colors so I know at a glance which of my skills are active. I'm hopiing more of the skills in the line get rando color treatments.

The theme for this Tome is "Dawn and Dusk," so they're adding a "dawn" theme for that one.

Once Arcanist gets its refresh, you will likely get the rest of the blue skills. DK got all of the rest of the blue skills with its refresh, so it seems logical that the 'secondary color' ones will drop with the refresh.

Actually it doesn't explain WHY they did it this way.

And putting one behind Premium Tomes makes me dislike the new system even more.

You are on many other posts commenting how you have no interest in the Tomes etc. Now a post to complain about something you have no interest in?
I am sure they will release a blue one to match the other blue.

If you don't like it because it's orange, does it matter it's behind the premium tome?

On the other end, this is what we should be expecting moving ahead. If they don't put anything desirable at all into premium, what would be the point of it?

It matters if they do the same thing to a blue one if that comes up, because I will not pay for it.

I ask myself that every day.

They very well may, at some point, to entice people who feel the need consistent skill styles to pay the extra to access a missing skill.

I don't like it either, but at the end of the day it's still just a cosmetic.

I know you are heavily in favor of them charging for things that really do impact players on a general basis, like the crafting bag. So I'm confused why this is upsetting for you when it's very optional and doesn't cause you a nuisance not to have it.

I am in favor of the crafting bag staying part of ESO+, but that is a different topic.

It is a nuisance not to have a calm peaceful blue on all the skills my Arcanist uses rather than neon puke green or bright orange. As I have posted many times, bright flashy colors are irritating to my eyes.

    So what's the complaint exactly?

That they haven't released the full set of blue arcanist skills yet? They haven't done a full set for any class except for DK so far, and that coincided with its class refresh. So there may be a bit of a wait.

That they released a skill style in an unwanted color? Well, it doesn't have to be claimed or used.

That they released something desirable (to some players) as part of the premium tome? That's kind of the point.

Hopefully the rest of the blue arcanist skills will be made available when their time comes and they will be satisfactory (I'm also looking forward to them).

My biggest complaint is that we finally get something I like and can use in a calm and peaceful pleasant color and then I see the next skill style I need for that class is orange. Makiing it available in page 9 of Premium Tomes just makes it all the more frustrating.

The word Arcanist looks a lot like Arancias.
