Somewhere in the chaos… It got quiet

I went into a dolmen thinking I knew how it would go. Push damage… move fast… get the pinions down as soon as I could. But every time I tried to rush it, something felt off. The fight would turn… and suddenly everything was on me at once.

There was a moment where I realized I wasn’t choosing anything anymore… I was just reacting. So I slowed it down. Instead of rolling away, I started rolling through enemies…not really to escape… just to find a better place to stand.

It didn’t fix everything right away… but little by little, things started to change. One enemy dropped… then another… and without really thinking about it, the chaos began to thin out.
At some point, I noticed something strange.

It got quiet. The pinions were still there… and I knew they mattered, but they didn’t feel dangerous anymore.

A quiet dolmen with 4 open pinions and no daedra is a beautiful thing! Just a beautiful orchestra playing somewhere.

That’s exactly how it felt… like everything found its rhythm for a moment.

My elf and I routinely experience magic moments when soloing WBs when things are going well and victory is clearly in the wind. The way we know is when I start actually hearing and enjoying the background combat music. Magic.
