Yep, seems the only way they know is the easiest route that wrecks the game.
I don't get why you'd make a game like this then go take a sledgehammer to it at every opportunity.

It's the exact same kind of superlative competence I'm rapidly coming to expect from TESO.
I'm not exaggerating when I'm say that the Devs' attempts to control the bot population are doing more to destroy the game for me than the bots themselves are.

I completely agree - I could've ignored the bots in the dungeon and just got on with playing the game, but noooo every man and his dog complained about them and asked the devs to put a timer or DR on the loot...now look where we are.
Said at the time this would only bring the bots into the open world...

What's worse, and I could be wrong here, the recommendation was to put a loot lockout on each boss specific to them... so the community was asking for something considerably less destructive than what we got. It's almost like there's someone sitting in Maryland playing corrupt-a-wish with our recommendations.

I'm starting to get the feeling they genuinely hate us, and want to punish us for playing a game in our free time.

Yeah, I'm getting that impression too. I mean, if it's not what they're actually after; they're doing a damn fine approximation of it.
Hell, once we traced the decay bug to, your gear breaks down when you play PvE...
Worst part is, I actually liked this game.
Same here - it's killing me. I really wanted to see this game do well, it could be really great...but all the things they keep doing to fight these damn bots is wrecking the game for actual players.

The gaping security holes the game has to allow them to fly, clip through geometry and outright teleport are absolutely shameful, especially given the RvR PVP aspect that the game has: these bots are really blatant, but a group of players can easily pull off the same tricks and be undetectable to other players, because the game was programmed in a way that allows them to do it.
