I’m on the fence. 3 hours was a lot of time but I also don’t watch twitch streams (I didn’t this time either, I had it on whilst I played the game myself). Having it be 3 hours had me end up in 3 different streams, so it’s good for introducing people to streamers. But in itself, 3 hours is a lot of time that we could be using to play the game.

I'd rather they stick to crates for Twitch streams that way I can continue getting Crown Gems instead.
Besides getting the rare repeat senche pet or mount is always fantastic for the nice big ol stack of 121(or was it 131? I forget) Gems.

But also 3 hours for just 100 Trade Bars is just way too long for so little in my opinion anyways.

Very little is worth watching 3 hours IMHO. In the event a drop for anying over an hour is actually something I'd like to have, I'd just queue it up on a device that I can get by without using for any length of time (tablet), mute the volume, and be off doing whatever I'd usually be doing.

That being said.. I'd take 100 trade bars over a few Orborous Crates any day. And based on the prices in the Bazaar, pound for pound 100 trade bars may well be more valuable than 3-5 crates. But that's not saying much, given that I'm not bothering to even afk watch this one.

Doesn’t really matter for me. I usually have Twitch for other games too open in a side-tab with browser extensions to autoclaim drops, audio muted and video at lowest quality.

I always select the non popular streamers though. I would rather have them make some money or havr them higher in the algorithm instead of bigger ones.

I no longer watch Twitch. First, I changed my cel phone number a couple years ago and that is where Twitch wants to text an authentication code so I can log in. They say if that doesn't work I can call customer service. Not gonna happen. Secondly, the only reason I would ever watch Twitch is for ESO dev shows - but those normally do not fit my schedule. Thirdly, I don't really care about rewards; I do like the info presented but will only watch it if/when it shows up as on demand when I want to watch it on YouTube.

That's not enough for me to even ignore the stream in the background, but regular twitch drops don't do anything for me either, soo...

I guess I'd rather just play the game myself, or play a different game if I'm not feeling this one on a given day.

One Ouroboros Crate gave 4 or 5 gems, with the very rare 13/33/133 reward. Lets say 4 for convenience. So for 4 crates you get a Superior reward, for 10 crates you get an Epic reward and for 25 crates you get a legendary reward.

Compare that to 400/1000/2500 trade bars.
There are two items that have been in crates
Morthal Jarl Finery 1400 bars legendary level (bars better deal)
Pop the Cork 750 bars Superior level (crates better deal)

My general feeling looking at the rewards is that valuewise 100 bars is roughly equivalent, some things are a worse deal than similar things in gems, others a better deal, but in a similar ballpark.

So then there are two things to consider.
1) Do you want bazaar items. There's a good variety of things there, but depending on how long you've been playing you may already have most of them. That, combined with gems being more flexible, means gems are probably a slightly better value.
2) The length of time. Crates were usually one hour, so 3 hours for 100 trade bars seems low value. Either give us more tradebars or drop the time to an hour.

Personally I'd prefer crates since I have most of what I want from the bazaar, but I don't think trade bars are a bad drop. The time for it is a bit high though. The other thing to consider is drop frequency. Ideally they'd alternate the two and have more regular drop campaigns.

100 trade bars for three hours is simply not worth my time. Would be suitable for like 30 min to an hour perhaps.

But beyond that, there's very little in the bazaar that I don't already have collected. Even even though gems built up slowly, it was really nice to be able to use them to get an occasional desirable item from a crate. Perhaps I'd feel better about it if there were more new things added to the bazaar. I hope the crates are not being eliminated and will be mixed in from time to time.

In my honest opinion, 100 trade bars is an awful reward for 3 hours of any ones time. 1 hour seems almost reasonable. A half hour would be better, though.

Granted, I let it run on my phone, stuck it on the lowest volume, and exiled the phone to another room since I don't believe in tormenting myself. But 3 hours is still an absurd amount of time for what amounts to practically nothing.

It wouldn't seem so bad if the 100 trade bars were simply the 3rd or 4th drop in line (30min, 1st hour, 2nd hour, 3rd, etc..). That would be reasonable. But one xp scroll for the first hour, then 100tb after the 3rd? That seems a bit dismissive.
