Annoying thing first: If there was one thing that annoyed me was the video direction/production itself - there was a lot of cutting from people talking to me, to a view of the side of their face. This seems to be a modern American style of production - Microsoft are now doing it a lot in their online training videos. Please stop this. It's distracting and jarring. When somebody is talking to the camera - i.e. to me - I really do not appreciate cutting to a close-up of the side of their face. Not sure exactly when this became a "thing", but it's not generally something I see outside of American productions.
I agree with this. Also, in the segment when Finn and Kira were standing in the hallway, the straight-on camera was too low. By that I mean Finn is enough taller than Kira that the camera was okay for her, but he really looked like he was looking down his nose at us. Which I'm sure you'll agree isn't a great look.

Okay, I'm hardly a producer or director, so on to gaming stuff. I don't have a ton to say, I think a lot of this stuff could be really interesting, esp things like rumors and the Vault. I do worry a bit that those of us who are completionists will get a bit frustrated by not knowing where to go for something, but we'll deal.

And I continue to be pretty impressed with the new direction of openness that the studio seems to be taking. Whether you live up to it remains to be seen, but I'm optimistic. I'm also glad you had Kal (?) and MrsNineTails (?, sorry I got those wrong, I don't know those players, but), they seem pretty knowledgeable, and getting feedback from long-time players is always welcome.

Wardens were a topic of discussion? I recall wardens being casually mentioned in passing. And even then it was glommed in with "or any other class that gets it next". Did I miss something?

Honest question, because admittedly my interest did fade during the round tables.

During the second round table discussion, Warden was brought up several times. Notably at 55:08, 49:38, and 51:13 in the VOD on YouTube.

Ah okay, so I didn't miss it. A few instances where Wardens are mentioned in passing. I thought you were refering to dedicated segments where the class was actually being discussed. Like the last couple of live streams did for the Werewolf.

We did learn that the themes of the Warden will be mixed between their skill lines, i.e. we can expect each skill line to carry the "feel" of a Warden with their nature and seasons theme, like how each Necromancer and Arcanist skill line on its own still feels like the respective Class overall. That part is new information — we shouldn't expect the rework to keep the skill lines so distinct the way they are now.

I don't have a problem with people being hyped about Warden, and I'm not asking people to care about Werewolf. I just think that if they're going to talk about future refresh efforts, they should at least mention the current one before talking about the next big one. Something like "after the Dragonknight and Two Handed, we're working on the Werewolf, but we're so excited to talk about the Warden refresh in U51" that stays in chronological order.

Again, not mentioning Werewolf when talking about the state of the refresh efforts just feels like it wasn't worth their time. It's like they forgot there's a refresh currently happening that's not Dragonknight, Two Handed, or Warden. I know there were some previous streams talking about Werewolf, but that's not the point, and we can't expect everyone watching to have watched the other streams.

This is the formal announcement stream where the changes to ESO this year were announced, so it would only make sense to once again go over the roadmap and acknowledge that Werewolf is getting a refresh at all for the people who didn't catch the other streams. At most, they said other Class and Weapon skill lines would get refreshes — they did not mention World skill lines like Werewolf. Anyone who didn't watch those other streams couldn't possibly have learned that Werewolf is getting anything at all, much less before the Warden (which was continually hyped).

With the Swashbuckler content coming, will we finally get the Pellitine Outlaw sword that magically appears in your hand when you /Salute using the Swashbuckler personality? My son uses the Pelletine Outlaw Daggers on his main. My main is a Khajiit who has been wearing a mix of Pellitine and other Elsweyr styles since the Elsweyr expansion launched and the Swashbuckler Personality since that was added. I'd love it to be able to use the sword from the emote in my Outfits.

    ”Fusozay Var Var”: ”Enjoy Life”
Life is short. If you have not made love recently, please, put down this book, and take care of that with all haste. Find a wanton lass or a frisky lad, or several, in whatever combination your wise loins direct, and do not under any circumstances play hard to get. Our struggle against the colossal forces of oppression can wait.
    Good. Welcome back.
We Khajiit live and fight together, and our struggles will not end very soon, likely not in our lifetimes. In the time we have, we do not want our closest comrades to be dour, dull, colorless, sober, and virginal. If we did, we would have joined the Thalmor.
Do not begrudge us our lewd jokes, our bawdy, drunken nights, our moonsugar. They are the pleasures often denied to us, and so we take our good humor very seriously.
Outfit slots are, no longer disgustingly expensive. A bit on the high side, but at least they are account wide now. So now, this one, my mate, and our cub all have at least two outfits.

This was an excellent stream, minus some technical difficulties on Twitch's end.

I finished the stream thinking that there was something for everyone in there, which is such a far cry from how these reveals used to operate.

Normally, I would interact with some of the content shown (new dungeons, chapter story quest, new system to an extent) but inevitably would not interact with a lot of the other content shown.

In this case, I'm pretty eager about almost everything. Even the systems I don't interact with that much, I think I might try out more like thievery with the new Thieves' Guild questline, Sage's Vault and mythic. Rumors system is interesting to me as a fan of Morrowind, Veterancy might motivate me to try to put PvP into my regular rotation of play, and of course the Naval Combat event with underwater exploration looks like a really cool use of the tech from Graven Deep.

I wanted to come to the forums to provide my feedback.
I really enjoy this format of stream for the "big news" like there was in January and now here, coupled with the smaller monthly developer update streams and other stuff sprinkled throughout.

Appreciate all of the work and effort that is going into this game, it feels like there is a positive energy and momentum building and it's a really exciting time to be playing.

One thing I really want to say is start really going towards buff culture for the rest of the class overhauls. Make them on par with the Dragonknight.

the new things looks good , but the same factor that has kept me from playing or even wanting to play the game is still being over looked so until add-ons that do 100+ free actions with 0 player in-put is removed or changed to have to have player actions be performed for actions to take place , none of your changes will bring me back to playing your game in any meaningful way ever again no matter what you add or change having add-ons that do automated actions without player having to do any actions at all but load up their script with everything they want done in a run and the add-on does it for them

If you had an issue with Twitch Drops, please place a ticket and customer service will help you out.

Ok but what category do you place a ticket in? It's incredibly frustrating as I keep clicking through every single category, and they all demand required information that I can't supply, because there is no category that corresponds to this problem. And there's no "other" option.

    SUPER frustrating and time-wasting

On top of the time waste that I carved time out of my day to watch Twitch live, didn't get the crates, and now I'm wasting time reading forums about the issue, posting tickets, and hoping ZOS will actually care. Already 1 poster complained that they did submit a ticket, ZOS said "talk to Twitch" and Twitch said "talk to ZOS"

... If you had an issue with Twitch Drops, please place a ticket and customer service will help you out. There will also be recap streams from other territories with twitch drops available throughout the week.

I had the same problem that others reported. At 21:12 my counter was still at 0% then jumped to 3% (indicating the counter only started at 21:10). Then, when I'd been watching for 1:09, the counter was still only at 97%, but then my Inventory refreshed and it said, "This reward is no longer available."

Jess and her roundtable were still talking and went until around 22.15. I see that on the Twitch Drops Inventory page it says this: "2026 Seasons Direct End Date: Tue, Mar 31, 9:59 PM GMT+2" which makes it look like Drops were running from 21:10-21:59, which is only 49 minutes for a 45 minute drop.

If Twitch wasn't counting time when we were on the Inventory page, refreshing it to check our progress, this could be why some got the drop and some didn't. Anyone who watched the stream and didn't check the Inventory got it with 4 minutes to spare. Anyone who watched but was compulsively checking the percentage lost time every refresh and might have lost more than 4 minutes on the counter.

So, I took your advice and created a ticket using the link some other users shared:
    https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/#en/home/category/14/platform1/3/PCMac/1181/saleoffer/1181

    This was the response:

    https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/#en/incident/id/29399641
    "Greetings!

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team. My name is [NAME] and I would be more than happy to assist you today.

Please reach out to Twitch Support to look into this issue as the rewards were not granted on the Twitch side of things.

    Thank you,"

So, I went over to Twitch and used their Help chatbot to create a support ticket. I'll update this when I hear back from them.

    This is Twitch's initial response:

"Based on what I found in the help resources, I understand your frustration with the Bethesda Twitch Drops progress issue. Here's what I can tell you:

According to Twitch's Drops troubleshooting guide, when your progress bar isn't advancing correctly, this can happen due to several technical reasons like ad blockers, connection issues, or page refresh timing. However, I can see from your description that:

    1. You were watching the correct Drops-enabled stream
    2. The stream was still live when you saw the "reward is no longer available" message
    3. You had been watching for over an hour (69 minutes) but only reached 97% of the 45-minute requirement
    4. The campaign ended while the stream was still ongoing

Unfortunately, when a Drops campaign ends (which is set by the game developer/partner, not by Twitch), it's no longer possible to earn progress toward that drop even if the stream continues. The campaign end time and stream end time are sometimes different.

The help resources explain that Drops progress is tracked by active campaign periods, and once a campaign expires, you can't earn more progress. After a drop becomes unavailable, there's a 7-day claiming window, but this only applies if you had already reached 100% progress.

Since this involves a time-based drop where the progress tracking appeared to malfunction and the reward became unavailable before you could complete it, I can create a support ticket for you and our specialists can review what happened. They typically respond within 24 hours. Would you like me to proceed with creating a support case?"

Watching ESO livestreams is pretty much my main reason for still having a Twitch account:

But as you said, even some users who did submit a ticket to ESO Customer Support got told, "Not our problem, talk to Twitch."

I'm excited about pretty much everything shown, except Vengeance. Vengeance makes me sad because it's just not a fun experience and I don't see that changing in the future either. For that to change it would have to stop being "Vengeance". The only potential it has is as a below lvl50 campaign to give new players a more even playing field, but even that will leave them ill-prepared for the real ESO PvP combat experience because Vengeance is simply too bare bones and not customizeable enough.

For God's sake, don't call the current disgrace in cyrodil PvP. It's never been PvP. It's bvb (build vs build) at best. Vengeance is actually an example of PvP, because it's where you fight the player and their skills, not their build.

I was very concerned about the display of naval battles. I didn't see if it would be possible to sail on the ships themselves instead of fighting on them. I wanted to be able to sail the seas and engage in battles with NPC ships. I wanted the opportunity to purchase my own ship and repair it after battles. However, it seems that these features will not be available, which is very disappointing. Regardless, I believe this will be an interesting event, but unfortunately, it will not provide me with the experience I desired from this game. Well, I'll at least hope that it will appear in the future.

I couldn't agree more. Vengeance is a far better system. It feels strange saying im looking forward to PvP, but it is true in the case of Vengeance. I watched the stream and was not in it for crates, I simply care about Eso and keeping my guilds up to speed. The round table format was excellent! I hope we get to see more of them in the future!
