I want alternate fur colors for Werewolf Transformation. I'm stoked that we're getting styles for gray, white, and black (in addition to the unstyled brown) but I want to see more.

Preferably, I'd like to get a "timber wolf" inspired Skill Style. There are a lot of existing wolf textures in this game to draw inspiration from, but I'd use something to make my werewolf have this sort of fur pattern:



Of course, please don't forget about some of ESO's unique wolf fur patterns, like the Shadowghost Wolf:



All of these could become premium Skill Styles for Werewolf Transformation.


In addition to changing the fur color, I'd like to see Werewolf Transformation Skill Styles add details like scars or war paint. I'd also love to have a matching Costume for the human form and a Skill Style for Werewolf Transformation which has you wearing a tattered version of that Costume, so it looks like you literally tore through the clothing when transforming.

I would not be interested in seeing other werebeasts. I think the priority should be on making werewolves as good as they can be. Only after we get these other werebeasts as enemies in the game should we consider turning them into styles for Werewolf Transformation; but even then, I'd rather they be separate skill lines (or even temporary skill lines like Werewolf Behemoth) so that the roleplay fantasy of being those creatures won't be held back by Werewolf's wolf-themed toolkit.

I want simple edgy dark purple or black recolors of the templar skill lines, I am easy to please

Oh boy I'm giddy about this thread. Funny story, for months I planned to do a fan mockup of various skill styles I wanted as both a way to practice my concept art and show what I want to see in game for skill styles since I feel they are way underutilized currently. I did pump the breaks on the project when the class visual updates were announced because I figured some of the concepts would become obsolete possibly but I have a long wishlist, both from personal character concepts and lore wishlists for my friends' characters. I'll possibly have to do this in parts depending on how long it is and I might go back and draw some of the concepts I list here later on but here we are.

Also, I know I sometimes gripe about ZOS reusing assets in game but if there was any place to reuse assets, skill styles is the place! We've had very cool npc only spells for years and I desperately want to see cool customizable spells in game from some older assets.

Sorry in advance for some of these not having visuals but others will reference in game assets that can be repurposed creatively.

I'll try to put images under a cut because I know this will be long anyway but it will help with readability I hope.

Skill Styles Wishlist: Part 1/?
Caltrops, Bone-I was massively disappointed that the caltrops bone style is more worm cult/coldharbour flavored. I would love for the one we have to be renamed and we get an actual bone style from assets we have in game.
Example: the various skeleton and animal bone carcass furnishings in game repurposed for caltrops (four examples shown under cut)
War Horn, AD/EP/DC/Alliance War-Have a burst of alliance color or selectable faction color/symbol briefly flash and the particles of war horn be changed to the respective alliance color flashing briefly. Various ways this can be done, could be a cool upcoming pvp achievement reward?

War Horn, Imperial Legion-similar to the above but have the imperial diamond flash and a red color to the particles of the ult

Bow Pack, Opal Arrows-inspired by Red Petal Bastion's Meridian bow/arrow style, would include Volley, Arrow Spray, and it would be cool to see other assets made similar to this for the other skills and/or Nightblade's Grim Focus and Fighter's Guild Silver Bolts

Fiery Breath, Noxious (legacy)-The orange/green blend of noxious breath was aesthetically pleasing and I would like to see a version of it for the new dk breath. While I do also want a green fiery breath down the line, the old one but on the new skill style would be very nice

Fiery Breath, Peryite-reusing Bal Sunnar vomit/poison cone which fits the new dk cone range decently
Hearthfire, Ash (legacy)-similar to Noxus skill style, an ashy skill style for Hearthfire would be huge for my dk healer who had that as one of her signature skills. A black ring slightly modifying Whirlwind, Black Sands or using the original skill particles updated could work here? I know this one will be more changed than Noxus just logistically

Necrotic Orb, Void-Markarth's void assets are some of my favorite in game and it's free to use the radial void ball as a skill style for orb (pls zos this is probably my most wanted I beg of youuuuu)
Necrotic Orb, Water-there are many gorgeous water assets in game that are not accessible to players yet. One of which is a water ball used by the Western Skyrim world boss at Ysmgar's Beach
Welkynd/Culanda Pack-Using the various ayleid crystal assets in game to give culanda/welkynd styles to Crystal Shard, Encase, Rune Prison, Dark Exchange, and Daedric Mines
Blood Altar, Ayleid Well-intent is to make the skill look like a variant of ayleid wells found in game
Caltrops, Ink and Parchment-using inksplash and parchment assets from Apocrypha to make a stylish and satisfying thematic caltrops style

Daedric Summons, Sanguine pack-using the blood scamps on Castle Thorn final boss and the Reveler Winged Twilights from the Solstice Sanguine areas
Werewolf, werebear/wereboar/wereshark/werebat/etc-pretty frequently requested

Werewolf, Helkarn-using the Helkarn wolf markings for a werewolf skin
Werewolf, undead-would love to see a replication of the zombie werewolves in the original eso trailer, especially since we've had a zombie skin for forever

Werewolf, Changeling-so this one is tricky to explain and would definitely be a premium skill style but basically using selene's assets for the werewolf skills and transformation to give the green changeling magic while still showing the original player model would be cool, both bear and spider models and they could possibly add other animals too if they wanted. See Selene's abilities in both dungeons + her monster helm
Werewolf, weredaedroth-daedric werewolf transformation based on sixteen accords to madness

Crux, Madgod-if we get passive/asset skill styles replacing the crux triangles with the orange and purple sheogorath butterflies which are a common asset in game. Example from my screenshot is from the mount up animation for the Dark Delirium Senche
Daedric Summoning, Nature Pack-Replacing the Winged Twilight with Aggression of Root, Scamp with Strangler, and other nature themed summons for the line

Warden shalks: anything frost related - ice spikes from the ground or even "frost covered" shalks.

I'd love to see some Daedric Prince-themes styles that use LESS bright lighting. The Nocturnal effects were very exciting to see in datamines, but when they came out the wings were so obscured by cloud and light effects that I couldn't even see them and returned them.

Simplicity is key here. Give me a Growing Swarm style based on Sheogorath that throws butterflies.

Give me a blast bones that explodes into rose petals for Sanguine.

Banner Bearer that covers my head in Hircine-like antlers

Lightning Form based on Peryite or Namira that covers me in bugs

Fossilize that throws out Molag Bal's Daedric anchor chains.

The options are limitless for giving more identity to how we play our characters

Venom Skull - Alchemist
Instead of the skull it's a potion bottle of green acid that breaks on impact and splashes its contents over the target. The base magicka version could be a bottle with something combustible.

Also, something to change the colour of the glow from Grim Focus to blue or yellow.

+1 for cherry blossoms. A cherry blossom recall like the Gold Road one? Shut up and take my money.

Also agree on Wolf for Warden Ultimate.
