    In purgatory.

COD is a really screwy system. You try to sell something, someone else decides to mess with you, they offer to buy it, they let it sit in their mail, and... you never see it again.

Peoples can wait quite few days before accepting your mails so you have to wait for it.
As always i advice to avoid to use COD whenever its possible.

From what I've read elsewhere, "quite a few days" means at least 30, and might be indefinitely.

I try to avoid COD as much as I can. First of all it adds postage, secondly, as said, the buyer can just leave the mail until it finally expires and returns to you.

    Oh geez. That's terrible, OP.

COD is my preferred method of trading with sellers as it's most convenient. I hope some safeguards for buyers and sellers are added soon.

Sheesh! Really? COD should have a two day time out, tops. Then it gets returned. Or, give the sender some kind of "retract" option.

Can someone send Zeni an "Idiot's guide to MMOs" already?

I totally agree, made a thread about this a while back. Someone there mentions it's 3 days max. but luckily I never could have checked that anymore :)

Yeah, Good advice here. People do it on purpose, hold back on paying or sending. I have a rule that anything over 1k, I take it to them or have them pick it up.

Prolly in a que similar to the one in Guild Stores that hold items until they are sold. And if that is indeed the case, they will most likely get sent back to you once their time limit in that que is up.

    My guess anyways.

COD's should have a "pending" mark until accepted, and you can retract them at any time...
But hay... it's ZOS... with inventory sorting the way it is, it's obvious that a logical approach UI is not something they bothered to consider...

Yeah, I've seen reports from people that they weren't getting stuff back after 3 days, and the suggestion in that thread was the number was really 30. Of course the system could just be buggy as hell, and it occasionally eats items.

They wanted you to dump your inventory into purgatory.
