Any of the previous years morphs collectibles would be great. For the 2024 seasons, I never got the Welwa because I chose the personality over it. I regret it to this day, so it'd be nice to get a 2nd chance at that.

The purpose of the Gold Coast Bazaar is to offer previously time-limited exclusive items. That is a separate feature from the Tamriel Tomes feature, which aims to offer new cosmetics and rewards from gameplay.
Definitely expect a second chance at getting the Welwa from the Bazaar once it opens up! Assuming the fragments aren't thrown onto the Impresario's assistant like the other morphing collectibles are. Either way, save up those Trade Bars for it.

It doesn't necessarily have to be in a Tamriel Tome (it could also be from the Crown Store or some Crown Crates) but we currently don't have anything like that in the game yet.

Or a fishing rod that looks cool AND improves fishing in some way.

I'd rather not see functional or advantageous rewards sourced exclusively from these time-limited Tomes. I'd be okay with it if either the rewards returned to the Bazaar so everyone could get them, or if you could get the same item from somewhere else, like how you can make or buy equivalent potions that you could also get from paid sources.
If rewards are going to be functional, like fishing rods that make fishing more efficient, then it might as well be part of a free content update that everyone can use. Maybe something like a fishing minigame with a leaderboard for each zone where you can unlock better fishing equipment and cosmetic fishing rods based on the achievements you earned? That'd be more fun than getting an upgrade simply for spending money on a Tome, at least.
Just here to add my voice to the few who aren't interested in Tamriel Tomes at all, so I really don't care what they put in them.
I'm not a person bedazzled by 'rewards rewards rewards!" from haphazard tasks over meaningful content.

To be completely fair, I don't think many people are actually interested or would have chosen battle pass. I know I for sure think battle passes have ruined games in the past. It's just what it is though. It's here and if it is a dismal failure, it's not like they're gonna say "oh well, back to chapters." (I fully understand you didn't say that, before you reply)
I would say though, that the people who are not wanting any rewards are probably a small group. That's totally ok. My sincere hope is that this battle pass is just a background type of flavor and that everything in the game doesn't become a big billboard for it and all effort go into only it. The content we get this year and next year will be a pretty good bell weather for that.
