What: BOT TRAINS
Where: Roots of Silvenar, Malabal Tor
When: 5-17-2014, 1:30pm PST
EVIDENCE: ESO - Bots in Roots of Silvenar, Malabal Tor

I am keeping a running log of this information along with character AND account names, and have added those account names to my ignore list. We shall see if ZOS is serious and really does do anything about this game-destroying problem or not.

Even if there is no response to these threads I will continue to FRAPS them and put them on Youtube, and continue keeping a log of all the names and account I have in my ignore list.

Also, I am keeping meticulous notes on each one I add to my ignore list in the notes there as well, and ONLY putting bots I have FRAPS'd and reported in my list, so that I will be able to compare it to my spreadsheet to see if they are ever banned, which I very seriously doubt.

Just the satisfaction I get seeing all the bot masters fleeing me, porting out of the dungeons, thinking they can escape streaming video, is reward enough for my efforts. Run like the vermin you are!

Do not post threads like this on the Customer Support forum.

Instead of reporting bots through here (which won't help you or ZeniMax in anyway), it's best to post your video proof on YouTube and send in the video link through an e-mail to ZeniMax Customer Support through their e-mail submission form. That will guarantee you to get the fastest response from GMs possible, and will avoid risking you getting any disciplinary action taken towards you here on the forums.

Remember: Naming and shaming is not allowed on these forums. If you have bots to report, the fastest way to do so is to use F > Report Player in-game. This goes straight to the GMs for them to handle the issue. If you can't do it that way, e-mail them using their Support page (http://help.elderscrollsonline.com/) with the location, affected quest (if any), and the time you noticed this happen.

    Hope this helps,

I posted Video evidence once in the forums. it got removed by a Mod Dualwielding the ToS without violating the ToS(on my part).

So yea, as much as i want to have it botfree. I gave up. They didnt even looked at it. I dont even wanna bother emailing the link anymore. Since you are more of a villian than the bots you show in here in a video.

Thats at least how i feel about it.

At this point, it's starting to feel like ZoS cares less about the bots than us reporting them on the forums. Just, start making a stink about them on redit, on any gamesite that'll let you post... wherever that ZoS can't moderate.

Nope, I think hes doing a GREAT job because it seems that Zen cannot handle it themselves. It will be interesting to see his final results.
He also did not mention ONE name as you say/ One youtube vid doesnt mean anything besides him showing some game-play and happen to be bots there (like always).

Its just sad this game has come to this

Another benefit of doing this is a PUBLIC time-stamp record. That way when I eventually make my report of what accounts have or have not ever actually been banned, I can site these videos as proof to substantiate statements that their activity was reported weeks or months earlier.

First of all, in his video, the chat interface is open in zone chat exposing player names. That's the first issue ZeniMax would take with this video. Secondly, he exposes the names of those afflicted in this video.

All of that would fall under "naming and shaming" other players. Regardless of whether they are or aren't bots, it doesn't change the fact of the matter here. ZeniMax does have the right to moderate this content: you're posting it on the 'official' forums of the game and those are the rules.

So why is posting a lets say pvp video no "naming and shaming" in this context? They just dont want anybody to see it first hand or whatever.

you really think i am that dumb?

You can beat someone and say he is a noob. Yet Zeni wouldnt remove it from the forums. You get what i am up to?

Also that wouldnt be name and shame. Normal videos also have that. But what they dont have is the word bot in there. He also didnt mentioned or called one of the persons in the chat to be a bot.

Just having a chat open doesnt violate the ToS. Whatever. i am tired of it. They get/got some nice footage there to see whats going on. All they need to do is to react. Hopefully. I will only believe until i notice actions.
That 15 minutes per day ingame GM presence isnt enough.

I think Zenimax has BIGGER problems then worry about a video that supposedly "names and shames" players regardless. OP should just remove the video or edit it I guess to keep it "legit", but hey I guess forum rule breakers are more important than the real issue at hand.

You are probably just whining because YOU are a botter and are worried about getting caught. Stop playing Narc Internet Hero and say something constructive or stay out of my threads.

This is NOT naming and shaming. I have NOT posted any of their names here. Please stop trying to cause trouble.

Wait, what? Bots? But....this forum spam is a real problem man. If even one thread is out of place...that can ruin everyone's Immersion in game! Surely you must see the importance of this!

I'd like to know if they are making any progress on creating detection for bots or whatever. I logged on today and saw more bots than players...had to log off as that was just depressing. :(

    No need for video proof.

This game is far beyond reasonable doubt status.

I just want to mention, why in every bot post, must someone defend the bots?? We must have a lot of ACLU lawyers in here....

Must have been one of those hall monitor's in middle school. I remember you, oh my (insert fake deity here) do I remember you.

These scumbots and their creators have no shame, so the naming and shaming crap doesn't apply.
