Yup, completed, easy achievements along the way, all achievements that could be collected before this one, I had them completed already, so this was an easy skin. :)

Ty ZOS for that one, we need more like that, and more achievements to complete overall (And a public character sheet to see them all....)

    -Cheers

The theme was something like “unbroken” but the Japanese method they took inspiration from actually uses broken pieces so it seems not quite suitable.

It's about imperfection, and about accepting damages and flaws as a part of a thing's history. So in a way, yes, it does fit ESO (though perhaps not the way it was intended?).

I still don't know though why my characters would want to walk around looking like a broken tea pot.

Yes, the Japanese practice of “grateful acceptance” plus a frugal nature to make do with what is available. I prefer to see it as my character has endured a lot but not been broken so I do not use the skin. I’m not a big fan of skins and body markings anyway but I appreciate the title.

I'd have to go in-game to look, but I think I'm only lacking the ones for Deadlands and Firesong. Both were started a while back, but I didn't follow through with them.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

Same. Before that anniversary skin was released, I never got the idea that people could consider their character in ESO to have been broken (unless they specifically went for that as headcanon in roleplay - a broken person trying to fight their way back; but the game's writing doesn't depict it like that by default). Sure, our character has died, but resurrected immediately in Coldharbor as a vestige - completely physically restored. And it's not like our character goes through any big physical or emotional crises throughout the chapter stories either, but we're usually the hero who has control over all situations and saves the day.

It doesn't feel fitting to me somehow; but then again, cosmetics do sometimes get renamed during development, I've read, including repurposing them with a different meaning if it fits better for a release. So this could have as well been originally designed as a lava skin or something like that, before someone thought it could be released with some different flavor text for the anniversary instead.
I’m not a big fan of skins and body markings anyway but I appreciate the title.

As someone who roleplays his characters and doesn't just use them as a random cool-looking avatar to play some content (which is a legit playstyle, I'm not telling anyone how to play their game - just to clarify), for me my characters' looks are also a question of plausibility. In that regard, many skins are useless to me as I have no clue why my characters would ever look like that. There's one skin that could be used to design a Maormer-looking character, and I've also seen one what would make a good Ohmes Khajiit, and one that would fit for a lich, for example, but I have no clue why any of my characters would look like a cosmic nebula, a stained glass window, or glow neon blue. And yes, I'm aware that the skins also have flavor texts, but many seem rather random and unconnected to the world as a whole (beyond using random location names and claiming that this was the place this thing was from), and also don't fit my characters' stories.

Your character has literally had their soul ripped from them. If that's not broken I don't know what is lol.

We get into philosophical terrority here, but for me personally, a character reborn as something different after death is not broken. It's a transformation, nothing more, especially if it's clearly not depicted as an ending point, but as the beginning of a journey.

Somewhat OT, but I'm stuck on the "Complete an Arc in Infinite Archive with a Companion" bit of the "Commemorative Activity Achiever".
