why does it take so long to zone in higher zones?

By the time I got to coldharbor it was taking over 20 seconds to zone. I had a feeling it was way longer than it used to be but when I timed it it was 'only' 20 seconds so I figured I was remembering wrong. But finally getting to the first v1 zone Im finding it only taking like 2 seconds to zone. What's going on in the higher zones that is taking so long? Is it something I can fix, or is it something teso needs to look at?

It might be something your end, I'm not seeing this. My HDD is nothing special and I run 8 gigs RAM, have a top end CPU and GPU though. Anything in your system that might be weak do you think?

Could even be addons or a combination of addons you're running that's causing this.

Whats your typical zone time for coldharbor?

Really fast usually, like a couple seconds.

I noticed this in aldmeri dominion, but not as bad in coldharbour. For example reapers march usually took 10-20 seconds to load, but auridon and grahtwood were much faster.

I did a little more testing. Its only the zones that have a loading screen. Going from Hollow city to outer Coldharbor zones in 1-2 seconds, but going from Coldharbor to Aba-Loria takes much longer. I used Aba-Loria because its a dungeon close to a wayshrine. Loc is NNW of Hollow City.

With my desktop I zone from Coldharbor to Aba-Loria in average 20 seconds with little variation and its the same time going in or out. It measured the same with or without addons. With my laptop the results were similar but with some difference. Going into Aba-Loria using laptop zones in average 17 seconds, and coming out it averages 25 seconds.

;TLDR Using 2 different computers I got the same result - about a 20 second load time zoning into or out of Aba-Loria. Disabling addons did not improve it.
