Got Scammed

Hello. Just less than an hour ago I got scammed of my 11+ million gold.
I gave the money to person to get crown gifts. They took the money then disappeared. Blocked me in discord.
I reported person for scamming. I got email from The Elder Scrolls Online Support Team in 2 mins saying no violations happened so they won't do anything.
In that case I don't understand the point of reporting of scamming.
Please someone help me retrive my gold back!
I am afraid he already sent gold to different accounts.

Sometimes the first reply from support seems to be automated or chosen from a set of templates, so you could attempt to appeal the decision.

You could also post your ticket number here for @ZOS_Kevin or a mod to look at.

It might help if you had screenshot evidence of chat with details of transaction (don't post that here, provide it to support).

Unfortunately, gold for crowns trading is not "officially" supported and zos prefers to stay out of it, so buyer beware, though sometimes players have been refunded after being scammed as a "one time courtesy".

It's generally best to trade with known guild members, or using some of the available crown discords where there is a record of prior transactions and users can gain a reputation of being reliable.

Perhaps some others will chime in with other ideas.

Sorry this happened to you and I really hope you can get it resolved.

Hi @ankeor. You will need to handle this with customer service. If you have a ticket number, we can escalate and send any additional information you may have to support the claim of scamming. Just as a note, we normally note that if you do crowns for gold, you are doing it at your own risk. It is difficult on our end to determine a scam if we only see the transaction. The other party could just say that you gave them the gold and then wanted it back.

We note this to say, if you have any Discord messages that can show the intent for crowns for gold and show that proof, it may build a stronger case with customer service.

I understand, it happened first time that someone actually run away with my gold.
@ZOS_Kevin I guess I happened to have 2 tickets. I made another while trying to appeal the first one.
I would be glad if you help me with it.
I have included the in game convo also the last part of discord convo in the 2nd ticket. Can I somehow add entire convo?

    Hello @ZOS_Kevin
Is there a way to escalate this as you suggested?
Gold is most likely circulating and it can be more problematic over time I assume.
I have sent 4 screenshots with my 2nd ticket. I have 3 more.
