Some peoples can't login on the forums anymore

There are some peoples, including him who got permission denied error when they try to login on the forums. So obviously they can't post it here.

Any idea?

After going round and round with a guy in email, I figured out that you just need to reset your cookies/password. No idea why, and they didn't know that either...

Hi, folks. If someone you know can no longer access the forums, they should submit a ticket to our Support Team. They will be happy to review the account and help out. Please keep in mind that, while anyone can read the forums, players do need an active game account to log in and post on the forums.

So does that mean the players having problems with subscription renewal will be unable to post once their game time expires?

This is patently untrue @ZOS_TristanK‌ , or at least not automatic. I refunded the game in full on April 8th. Not taunting, won't be hurt if this account gets shut down.

But, still, someone gave you bad info.

I was one that had the issue yesterday. I submitted a ticket and it was sorted ealrier today (thanks for fast resolution ZOS) So if you know of anyone who got this problem then make a ticket as @ZOS_TristanK is the way to get it sorted as it is a permissions issue;

I apologize for the delay in this response! I looked into this issue a little more, and it turns out that there was a permissions mix-up on our end. I have rectified this situation, and you should be able to log onto the forums with no problems, now!

This happened to me as well. Active subscription, but for whatever reason my forum invitation had expired. Support team sorted it out yesterday evening.

Clearing cookies / cache / resetting password = DOESN'T DO SQUAT!

I spent the last 2 days (and 8+ emails later) dealing with this completely useless CS rep.

That is exactly what he kept telling me to do, over and over, completely convinced it was MY FAULT I was getting "permission denied" when trying to access the forums.

I finally tell him off, inform him that he is completely inept at his job, ask to speak to a supervisor because he clearly is useless and et voila, problem solved ONE email later when a lovely CS rep fixed my account for me.

I tried 3 different browsers (all at this jokers behest), rebooting, clearing cache/cookies, resetting security permissions ... by the end this guy was just telling me random crap to do I swear and not once, during our entire conversation did he listen to a single thing I told him.

Drove me flippin mental.

P.s. When they fixed my account, they didn't need to reset my username or my password. Simply allowed it to login. Period.

Just to add, that the remove the cache and resetting password does not help. Both my bf and I were hit with this and I sent a ticket to ZOS about it. Within a day it was fixed by a very nice CS rep

So just send an email, mention the forums permission deal and that you have an active subscription and it should be fixed within 12 hours.

Yep, 1 week after I first sent in a ticket for not being able to login to the forums, and a couple of nudges along the way, I finally get back my permissions adjusted. What a headache. I lost access to here at the same time my sub got renewed.
