So true. Personal agency. It just has to be. Nevertheless nobody was complaining, just glad to be rid of them that's all!True, developers implement the systems - but players still choose how they engage with them. Daily rewards only work because players decide they must log in every day. Plenty of people ignore them entirely. At some point personal agency has to be part of the conversation too.
