Daily Rewards... not going to miss them...

Been getting daily rewards since I started playing the game in 2019. I'm now in favor of seeing them removed, and I am really liking the new Golden Pursuits that I see today. Hopefully, Tamriel Tomes will be equally as good.

The game evolves. I like it.

I didn't dislike daily endeavors but prefer the flexibility of something like golden pursuits.

Agree here as well. I'm back after a 4+ year break and glad to see my timing on coming back with this and other changes.

This is a 100% good change since now we don't have to login daily just to ensure we get the rewards. Now you can get the rewards when you decide to play the game, not when game decides that you should play. Fantastic !

I didn't need a lot of the daily rewards. Now I can buy the one or two items I did find useful from the bazaar (when it's available). That works better for me.

I genuinely had no idea how addicted some players were to daily rewards. I never cared much for them myself and never felt any obligation to log in just to claim them. But judging by the reaction to their removal, it seems a lot of players had really let those rewards grab them by the throat and turned something optional into something they felt compelled to do every single day.

I feel the fault lies as much on the player, as it does the developers.

Wish we could all be as cool and carefree like you. Perhaps some day we'll be, we can only dream!

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that one of the Tomes things is almost the same as having to log in daily, but I will admit that I wasn't paying close attention as I'm not interested in the new system.

The players are not the ones implementing dark patterns that take advantage of cognitive biases.

True, developers implement the systems - but players still choose how they engage with them. Daily rewards only work because players decide they must log in every day. Plenty of people ignore them entirely. At some point personal agency has to be part of the conversation too.

So true. Personal agency. It just has to be. Nevertheless nobody was complaining, just glad to be rid of them that's all!
