What Happened To Daily Login Rewards, Endeavors & Seals

Most people here on the Official forums will know, but just in case I am posting it here as well to help clear up how many people ive seen in game asking and also people giving the wrong answers.

The text long and short of it, is that the community has wanted these FOMO mechanics removed for the majority of the time they have existed. ZOS has finally listened as 2026 is definitely a reparative year with the community, not to say everyone will be happy with this change.

But likely the majority, especially once the replacement rewards become accessible will enjoy this. As you will gain all the dame or more rewards, without the need not miss out on endeavors of daily chores. Meaning you can go on vacation, and not lose a ton of endeavor points, or the end of the months daily rewards.

The main reason for making this video and post. Is to combat the misinformation and fear mongering some of us have seen. Like the person in Stonefalls zone chat yesterday telling people to “spend all their seals of endeavors now because they are being taken out of the game.

This is FALSE. The currency is staying in the game, will buy you the same rewards and more. And you will still also gain the currency, but through events, long term missions similar to golden pursuits, and Tomes.

So keep your seals of or use them as you planned to previously. 💚🫡

Have a great day everyone and enjoy the upcoming changes!

Woooohoooo!!! Is all I have to say, I am so glad these lame mechanics are dead. And I am beyond impressed with ZOS for going against the industry norms this year and rolling those additions back into the crypt they came.

Let me log in because I want to, and because it sounds fun. Not because I need to save up tokens daily, so that when I actually am in the mood I can afford a cool mount months later. This will put me in such a more positive mindset with my relationship with ESO. Its fantastic. Thanks for covering it and helping people understand, ive seen many complaining or being sad. But thousands or millions fo s have hated them since they were introduced and have begged them to get rid of it.

I completely agree. I feel like I have to log in everyday to get the reward and do the endeavours. It's become a chore.

I want to be able to forget the game exists for a week or two and then hop back in when I have free time and not worry about missing out.

I wouldn't get too excited if your priority is less FOMO, from later this month they're being replaced with the season passes, which as we've seen on the PTS have both a similar schedule and similar activities. They'll also have the same rewards, since that's the new source for seals. (Although the seasons also have direct rewards, like golden pursuits, which are also sticking around.)

I actually enjoyed endeavours, but then I never felt any temptation to do the ones I wouldn't enjoy. I'd log in to see what the options were and if I didn't feel like doing them today I'd just skip it, or maybe only do 1-2. I'd like to do the same with the season passes, but they require an upfront commitment since you need to decide if you're going to buy the full version while it's available, and then obviously need to keep on top of them so you don't have loads of incomplete ones piling up.

Combined with new areas like the Nightmarket being temporary (or maybe permanent if we meet unspecified requirements for activity) I'm not at all convinced this years changes are an improvement for people who want to play in their own time and not on ZOS's schedule. I'd be very happy to be wrong about this of course, but for now it seems like rebranding FOMO systems and making them even more cental to the game, not reducing them.

I definitely understand *some* skepticism for sure.

But how is expanding the available time for these rewards to a month or later, multiple months. Not objectively better and more accessible?

I personally think if you have a month or more to gain basic rewards which can be done in a day if you like, that it's no longer a horrible "FOMO" mechanic. And instead is truly a way to be rewarded while you play and a way to earn mounts and such usually only achieved with $$.

Making it to where a player does not have to be obligated to log in EVERY day of their life to "keep up". Is putting them far ahead of essentially every other MMO, they are now one of few who won't have it.

    Exactly! And thats healthy.

I think this is extremely fair amounts of time to "keep up" now, for even the most casual of player. :)

How would the ideal system be? Zero updates for seasons or events that bring us together? Only content can be permanent and available all the time? Anything with any "even time" no matter how long, is "fomo"?

I personally really enjoy events and how populated they are, and people get into a "festive" group mentality. The holiday events for example, would lose meaning so fast if they were available all year and they wouldn't feel special to the season IRL. I dont know... I feel like there is nuance that we are approaching and which is good. ZERO timed evens is an extreme I think is detrimental.

I will not miss Daily Rewards. I have three rewards that I log in every day to get: my Hirelings rewards, the Bequeather in Outlaws Refuge and the Dragonguard daily chest.

I'm liking the new Golden Pursuits... the current one offers Seals of Endeavor as well as the usual former Daily Rewards items. And Tamriel Tomes seems promising.

I really like the mechanic of Seals of Endeavor and usually save up my seals so I can buy the really juicy rewards, the big 18,000 seals rewards!

Exactly!! And I have been putting in a LOT of work today correcting misinformation lol.

A lot of people were saying and claiming that they were getting 0 Endeavors or LESS now. But it's actually MORE from this months Golden Pursuit than if they did a whole month of daily and weekly endeavors. I made another short and info-graphic to show them lol.
