Maintenance for the week of March 2:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – March 2

Since daily tasks are being reduced, I'd appreciate Dark Brotherhood Parcel to be converted to mail.

It's as the title suggests. I don't know if this is something anyone else would agree with but just throwing the idea out there out of curiosity.

What specifically I was thinking of is that once you unlock the passive from the skill line by default you would not yet receive a parcel, but you could visit Remains-Silent, ask for a specific order of parcel type, then these would be the ones delivered daily similarly to crafting hirelings. If you change your mind you would have to visit Remains-Silent again to change parcel type or disable it.

I think most of the other types of daily tasks are fine where they sit. The commitment to Daily Writs feels fine where it sits based on what is received from them. The Dragonguard chest feels fine since you can only claim it once a day per account rather than character. Dark Brotherhood parcel just takes that extra time on all my characters that can access it to divert to an outlaw refuge and navigate to Remains-Silent then make my way back when what we receive from it seems comparable to crafting hirelings.

If it doesn't change I'll live, it's not a major setback, just thought I'd suggest.

That would be nice, most of my characters have access to Remains Silent but I only bother to pick up my daily reward on one or two (or more frequently, none). More alchemy mats are always welcome!

in that sense it's practically the unofficial alchemy hireling! I do also appreciate those and is what I usually pick.

It’s kind of a substitute for an alchemy hireling, but hirelings bring an awful lot more mats in terms of variety (and in terms of quantity too, for the most part, though that is largely due to being able to invest more than one skill point in them). Especially since it takes more time to unlock Remains-Silent, I don’t think her mat offerings compare all that well to hirelings, tbh.

The Toxin Satchel has five potential options for its guaranteed roll, two of which are potions (Alliance Battle and Alliance Spell Draughts). Only about 60% of the time will you get mats from the first of the three dialogue choices that produce the daily offering.

The three options for mats are always 3x the poison solvent matched to your rank in Solvent Proficiency (character level does not matter) plus:

-3x each of Blessed Thistle, Namira’s Rot, and Nirnroot
-3x each of Emetic Russula, Fleshfly Larva, and Nightshade
-3x each of Imp Stool, Luminous Russula, and Spider Egg

There are lot of alchemical reagents missing from this list, even from base game. The selection really reflects the nature of the Toxin Satchel and its affiliation with the Dark Brotherhood and the poison system introduced alongside it in Update 10. Hireling mats aren’t so tied to one theme within their crafts but bring a more general (and typically more generous) selection.

Having to visit him every time is the reason I've never taken that perk.

I think the Dragonguard box should also account once all the associated achievements are claimed, tbh. All the time spent doing chore tasks takes away from gameplay.

They should make a way to easily start a zone's dailies without having to visit each zone. IDK how but turn in could remain the same. Brotherhood and Dragonguard dailies should be sent as mail.

I don't mind having to go loot the Dragonguard chest so much since it's right next to a wayshrine. What bugs me about the chest is that unlocking it is character wide, while looting it is account wide. I remember way back when I unlocked the chest on a 2nd character, and upon discovering that it could only be looted once per account I was a bit put off by all the work I had gone through to unlock it a second time. I think Tideholm and all its servics should be unlocked account wide upon first completion, blocked only to characters that have an active S. Elsweyr quest to preserve continuity.

It's still an extra load screen that's completely unnecessary given that it is already once per account. I often don't bother with it for precisely that reason. There's already so many chore tasks.

    I have long wanted this.

Perhaps a bulletin board somewhere central.
You would still have to go to the specific zones of course, but you could quickly get the dailies in one place, especially with some of the zones where daily quest givers are somewhat spread out.
