Now she's actually useable, how's the relation with Larcenist achievements? Do they progress based on the city/map she's summoned, or they don't progress at all?
I am the very model of a scientist Salarian, I've studied species Turian, Asari, and Batarian.
I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology) because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology).
My xenoscience studies range from urban to agrarian, I am the very model of a Scientist Salarian.

I would think not, since the achievement seems designed to get you to sell to the specific refuge faction. Pirharri is not part of any refuge's faction, so even if you brought her there physically, you would be selling to her, not them.

I can test this later today, but I would be very surprised if they'd had both the intention and the time to code Pirharri to work with this achievement.

The achievements specify receiving 20k "at the outlaw refuge". So even if she did count towards it, you'd have to be in the refuge anyway.

Testing shows this does work on live!

I was at 10,646/20,000 towards Clockwork City Larcenist. I summoned Pirharri in the refuge and fenced an item for 42 gold (that's my profit with Haggling and Infamous less her cut).

    I'm now at 10,688/20,000.

It did not work in The Brass Fortress, so you must be in the refuge itself, as DenverRalphy suggested. That means at best you save a few seconds from loading into the refuge to getting to a refuge fence, but it is a nice surprise that they thought of this and made it work.

    Or it's the exact opposite.

For the lacrenist achievements you can code that it checks your location. If it's any of the thieves guild refuges, advance the achievement. That is enough. If they would add also another check that you are at the correct fence, some places have one fence, others two. With "check if location" it would be one check, easy to code, doesn't matter how many fences there are in there.

Limitations need to be coded in, in many cases. Like in Bethesda games when you have romance options. For NPC gender preference, that would need to be coded in. Less coding if you don't add that kind of check.

I’m used to seeing issues that arise because of what appears to be a very specifically coded, individual interactions. Like for example Jabs, after it got changed to direct damage, still racked up stacks of Azureblight for years. Jabs properly scaled with Master at Arms and not Thaumaturge during that time, but the list of what procced Azure clearly didn’t go by the same system that CP uses. Had there been a single system where proc sets and CP checked the same info as to whether the skill was direct or DoT, this wouldn’t have happened. Instead they seem to have to maintain the proc set list individually, which seems really inefficient and prone to errors.

I can also point to bugs like Plentiful Harvest doing bizarre things with Pulverized Titanium or how resources events failed to give their bonus to heartwood specifically for a long time or how they still give their bonus to enemy creature drops and also don’t reroll for dust from ore nodes but simply +1 if you get any from the base roll. These are all cases where the intended coding exists already and for some reason wasn’t properly replicated for analogous situations.

So it really isn’t a given to me that they take the easiest or most consistent or otherwise best technical approach. I really would have expected them to individually code each fence like they manage each interaction for proc sets and resources. The fact they didn’t is a nice surprise.

Oh yes, I would like to see a revamp of Legerdemain -> Traffiker passive.
Rank 1 - leave it as is, +120%
    Rank 2 - 160%
    Rank 3 - 200%
    Rank 4 - Unlimited
Also, I would swap the required Legerdemain levels between Traffiker rank 4 and Kickback rank 4. The bounties is not that big of a deal, level 18 for max rank for Kickback is fine who cares. But Traffiker rank 4 with unlimited transactions should be at Legerdemain level 20.

Unlimited would totally break everything. You get ~120 "items" in a single run through the pathway behind the Necrom refuge, which takes about a minute to do. Some of those are multiples of an actual object (though most of those are trash like style stones/lockpicks/trash type items, you also get ~10 research portfolios if you have Azandar's bonus, which unpack to ~15-20 sellables). So you get about 60 actually worth fencing items, netting you about 5k on average. Per a minute-long run. As is, it caps you at about 3 runs worth though. Even if just less than half of them respawns stuff after you pop in and out of the refuge, it would allow a dedicated grinder to make a lot of gold with unlimited fencing.

... Changing Trafficker so ranks 2-4 are actually worth a skillpoint though would make sense... As is, you get +60 (more than double the base amount) at rank 1, then +10 for each of the three subsequent ranks. Which is totally not worth getting unless you're swimming in skillpoints.

Good point. Unlimited would indeed mean unlimited gold, too. But at least higher limit would be nice. Now it's basically just port to Skywatch, pickpocket outside, enter Skywatch and pickpocket half of the immediate surrounding and that's your daily limit already.

If it works even though we still have to be inside a Den, it's still a great help, considering Fences are usually quite far from entrance nowadays
